This motel is a great place to stay in the middle of the CBD however, the restaurant defiantly needs to hold up on the cleaning products and get rid of the musty smell. The Food is nice however, its like being in a hospital which is bad because of the atmosphere but good because you know its clean. The rates... More

Doesn't look much from the outside but the rooms are large and tastefully decorated. Very clean & well presented. Bed has electric blanket and good heating in the room. Newly revamped bathroom with nice bathroom products. Great location opposite the beach, surf club and short walk to the town centre. Overall very happy with the stay.

After reading all the reviews was a bit unsure of what to expect but was pleasantly surprised with our rooms. We travelled as couples & had asked for our rooms to be beside each other & they couldn't have been further apart which was no real drama. We had booked the balcony rooms overlooking the ocean which seemed to be... More

We checked in with our infant to a cold damp room then had the pleasure of about 30 Harley's rattle the walls as they are regular guests, then while young one was sleeping had noise from drinking and smoking outside our door. We had to leave before 5pm and move to a quieter street but the old lady/Manager was greedy... More

What started as a pleasant surprise soon became an absolute disaster. Upon arrival I was informed of an upgrade to a spa room, great say I. I dined at a local restaurant and arrived back at my room around ten thirty, watched some telly and went to sleep. To be woken at 12.50am by drunken yobbos and an even more... More

We only stayed the one night in Burnie. Great position for the hotel. Our room faced one of the main streets but it wasn't that noisy. A few louts on the street early in the morning but generally quiet. Spacious room, big bathroom and adequate luggage storage room. The night we stayed the wifi wasn't available in,our room but I... I'm not sure how many of you are familiar with Burnie. It's one of those towns (small city of around 20k) which has been prettied up over the past ten years. The hotel as are very very poor though and there is not a lot of choice unless you want to look at the Icon Hotel (the nicely refurbished Club... More

Stayed for one night, found it a bit pricey. Bathrooms in need of a revamp and could have done with a good clean in the shower. Definitely not the same as the pictures on the website. Beach just across the road, a short walk to the centre of town.

Thank you for your recent review. I can understand your comments in regards to the bathroom facilities. Most of our suits have been upgraded with new bathrooms. They fall into the Executive Suite and Sea View Executive suite catagories. Our Standard suites have not had their bathrooms renovated and we do offer these at a discounted rate compared to our... I always stay here in Burnie. Always clean, friendly and welcoming. Close to everything. A bit dated but bathrooms have been updated since I last visited. Good size rooms, clean and tidy and very practical.
