Beautiful old heritage home, superbly finished and furnished, wonderful hosts - what more could you want in accommodation. Located less than 1km from the centre of Burnie and having lovely views over the harbour. Almost impossible to find fault with it. Very highly recommended.

Such a beautiful country house, immaculately decorated and filled with fascinating artwork and objects - historic photos, souvenirs and art from around the world, a working 50's wireless in our room. Super-comfy bed, great shower. Wish we were there long enough to enjoy the gorgeous balcony/terrace. Warm friendly service and delicious breakfast. Can't fault it.

we just spent one night here recently and will go back again and again! Nothing new to add. The hosts are lovely, friendly and helpful, the rooms beautifully renovated, (make sure you check out the stunning ceiling in the dining room!!) There were generous slices of fruit cake in the room, the bed was comfortable, breakfast was simple but good... More

Where to start? The warm welcome on arrival from Del and Merv made us feel comfortable and relaxed. The historic home has been magnificantly restored and the rooms are spacious, well appointed, spotlessly clean and comfortable. The nice touches like fresh flowers and home made fruit cake just add to the welcome feeling you get here. The hosts are so... More

This is a beautifully restored historic home which is very comfortably furnished. The hosts are most cordial and welcoming. They maintain a beautiful garden setting which is close to town but feels private with a good view of the harbor. They provide a wholesome attractive breakfast in beautifully redecorated front room having an original ornate ceiling with much detail. It... More

We stayed at Glen Osborne house when we travelled Tassie with 3 other couples. This meant we as a group had the house to ourselves which was a great experience. The rooms are so big and beautifully decorated. All with lovely en suite bathrooms, one with a spa bath. The breakfast was superb and the dining room full of lovely... More
