We noticed that the last reviews were some time ago so thought it time to provide a review of a recent stay. The cottage is purpose redesigned to accommodate a couple. The kitchen is generous in size, having been a commercial kitchen in a previous life. So, plenty of room and storage to cook up a meal if you plan... More

We absolutely loved our four day stay at St Clairs Cottage. Abundant breakfast food was provided and special dietary requirements were catered for. The cottage was extremely clean, warm and cozy. The bed was comfortable, the kitchen well equipped and the spa bath excellent. We used the dinghy to go fishing and Bob not only provided the fishing rods and... More

We stayed at the St Clairs Luxury cottage for one night and it was absolutely fantastic, the owner & host Bob was very friendly and helpful and went out of his way to ensure our stay was great. Breakfast is included and you cook it yourself with sensational ingredients and the view from the large spa bath is awesome, If... More

Three days allowed us to explore North and South Bruny Island and it was great being able to come back to St Clairs to freshen up before heading off to dinner. Don't short change yourself and stay fewer than three days as there is so much to explore. We saw too many people who just came down on the bus... More

We stayed for 5 nights in this well equipped and pleasant cottage. Very peaceful surroundings with the verandah a lovely spot to sit and relax with a drink. The breakfast supplies were plentiful and there was enough to have a sausage bbq one night as well. St Clairs is an easy drive to the Bruny Hotel which has excellent meals, and... More

We stayed for 4 nights and really enjoyed the peacefulness, birdlife and (distant) view of the water, which was very easily accessible. Bob, the owner, was very attentive and had provided a large breakfast for each day of our stay. The B&B's facilities were very good with separate kitchen, bathroom, toilet and spa room. There is even a boat with... More

The cottage is located in a quiet spot on the way to the lighthouse. It is so peaceful, the only thing you hear is the wildlife, and it is in abundance! Wallabies, frogs, hundreds of birds and even the odd sea eagle! The interior of the cottage is really cosy, like a cabin, with open-plan living/sleeping with a separate large... More

We spent two nights here. It is a large room, with a separate kitchen, nice living area, porch with a hammock, high-def TV, internet, and seclusion. Wallabies hop by in the afternoon. It is a short drive to the lighthouse at the south tip of the island, and an interesting drive across the ridge to Adventure Bay, where there are... More

Lovely weekend spent at this accommodation. It is suited really only to couples. The boat and abundance of fish is a bonus! We had fresh flathead for dinner! Owners are only too happy to help with local knowledge. Would visit again!

Beautiful place, great location and everything you could want -- except shampoo and conditioner. You can see the sea from the porch, the wallabies come to visit at night, and you can hear the frogs in a nearby pond. The breakfast provisions were first class and the bed is comfortable. The place is set up for only two people and... More
