If you are a keen golfer you must play Barnbougle & Lost Farm. Two distinctly different layouts though both very challenging and that's before Mother Nature takes hold! Prices are very reasonable and accommodation comfortable and also well priced.

The ocean view room was very good although the view from the rooms overlooking the golf course were just as good. View from Lost Farm Barnbougle restaurant was spectacular. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Food at Barnbougle Dunes Bistro was very good and cheaper than Lost Farm restaurant. The golf courses are both excellent and deserving of their top... More

The lost farm lodge is beautiful. The views over the bass from our room was spectacular. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable. The golf courses are spectacular and my husband who is a golf pro really enjoyed playing them. The restaurant was above average and the views are incredible. The rooms are spacious and well appointed although I thought the bed... More

The Golf Resort location is in the countryside, far away from most everything else. The rooms are a little spartan but have quite a bit of space. A sitting area with separate table and tv, small balcony and bed area with second tv. The bathroom is spacious with shower only. Overall, quite comfortable and most visitors are there for the... We stayed here for two nights with friends. The boys played golf while the girls took advantage of the spa. the location of Lost Farm is amazing, its is bunkered right into the dunes and we had a sea view room. the view from the spa and the restaurant is superb. The accommodation is of an excellent quality and the... More

We were pleasantly surprised by the standard of rooms and facilities at Lost Farm. We'd expected something basic, but found spacious, comfortable and well appointed rooms to welcome the weary golfer. The views of the course and the ocean are wonderful and you get to see some spectacular storms gusting in one day, followed by tranquil sunsets the next. The... More

One of the best hotels I have stayed at for shared accommodation with a golfing group of guys. Big rooms, ample separation and space, and very well finished. Most rooms have great views and the facilities on site are great. Bars, restaurant, and the golf course itself are all fantastic. Next plan is to get the wife back here for... More

Good quality accommodation overlong Bass Strait and golf course. For the golfing enthusiast the course is less brutal than Barnbougle Dunes next door. The sense of remoteness in the north of Tasmania adds to the experience.

We returned for the third time this year having stayed once at the Barnbugle Villas and twice at Lost Farm. There were four of us and we loved it. The rooms were comfortable and spacious, the golf courses both wonderful challenges in their own way. The girls enjoyed a great massage at the Spa which would have the best view... More
