We stayed one night as we were exhausted from travelling and didn't really know what was ahead. It was sufficient for the night, but it could not be classed as exceptionally clean or exceptionally great. Nothing really in walking distance, no shops, no local sightseeing. Just a place to stay which needs a bit of work to get it out... More

I have some mixed feelings for this accommodation. On one hand, as such accommodations go it is spacious and generous: our cottage had a spa (fitted with a bit of an awkward shower and shower curtain), two bedrooms, a living room and a kitchen. These were better equipped than most of the rest of Tasmania's similarly priced accommodations: the fridge... More

Hi - glad to hear the things you liked about our property, sad to hear the things that were wrong and I can only say that we will endeavour to make them right. As far as the old style accommodation, we purchased the property two years ago and short of the expense of gutting the cottages and starting again in... More

Stayed 1 night in a old style cottage: cottage situated near the highway. you hear the sound of the highway barely. ( truck at night and morning) cottage was decorated with antique furniture and was fully equipped: fireplace, dining area, lounge, bedroom and spa bath. Products for the bathroom were in large plastic bottles Our bungalow was not completely clean:... More

Thanks for your review - I am very disappointed to hear about the kitchen not being clean and will be taking that up with the staff. If I am able to speak to guests before they check in, I let them know that their key is in the door of their cottage (I do this when I place the breakfast... More

We stayed one night and even though the cottages are on the main road, road noise is very minimal. Log fire adds a homely warm ambience. The restaurant offers superb food and friendly service. Would stay here in the future and recommend to others.

My girlfriend and I had a few days off work which coincided with valentines day so we decided to go to the NW coast and stay at Killynaught cottages - which were a nice little surprise. The cottages are very unique. Old style cottages with a comfortable 4 poster bed, spa in the bathroom and decent size lounge room and... More

Stayed for one night. A cute comfortable cottage with nice touches throughout which made the place feel like you were visiting grandmas. Comfortable bed, large well appointed bathroom with full sized toiletries, hair dryer and plenty of powerpoints. Kitchen is similarly well appointed and easily caters for a longer stay if you want to self cater. Digital TV (free to... More

Would be more than happy to recommend anyone staying at the cottages. Generally, very well maintained; clean; most courteous and friendly staff, and would recommend dining at the attached Sea Breeze Cafe/Restuarant which food is second to none, in both presentation and taste.

We stayed here approximately 10 years ago and thought It could not get much better. Now they have an outstanding restaurant and still have all the lovely extra's like the open fire, wonderful breakfast provisions and port, not to mention the lovely spa and comfortable beds. Thanks for a wonderful weekend. We will definately be back!!!!

The property was the most expensive B & B in the whole of Tasmania but we thought that the experience would be worth it after viewing the website... lets just say that websites can be deceiving. VIEW the cottage before you pay and commit to stay. We stayed in Miss Maud's cottage - the cobwebs and dirty exterior, along with... More
