Room was clean and pleasant but for the price I would have expected free WiFi. The resteraunt gave me good fish and chips but fish a bit on the small size. Desserts were Iike all Auz offerings, very sweet.

Good Afternoon, Thank you for your review, they are always most welcome, however, we feel that you may have reviewed the incorrect property as we do have free Wi Fi to all of our guests both staying in accommodation and visiting our popular restaurant. Enjoy your travels. Kindest regards, Donna & Stefan More

Lovely spotless room, with a view of the Tamar river. The food was just excellent and the owner Stefan (No 2 chef) was great company. I have no hesitation in recommending this motel and restaurant to any visitor, great spot and great value for money.

If you want a quiet coffee & cake, a quick 'snifter', a romantic evening for a special occasion, a night out with a great meal or the Christmas end of year function - Tamar Cove has it all and I have been to at least one of each of these, and several of others. It never fails to live up... More

If its a little touch of class that you are after while traveling around some of the most scenic regions of Tasmania you must stay at the Tamar Cove Motel and dine at the Tamar Cove Restaurant. The staff were very friendly, the heater and lights were already turned on in my room to make it very warm and homely.... More

Not only is this very comfortable motel situated in a lovely part of Tasmania, but it also managed by an absolute angel. Donna went out of her way to help me, driving me down to Beaconsfield so I could get to some of the events held during the 2014 Golden Words Festival. The motel also boasts a wonderful eatery -... We had a very pleasant lunch here today, sitting outside on a warm day. The scallop and curry pie, and grilled calamari, were both delicious. Good service, and reasonable value. There was a large function being held downstairs, but notwithstanding that the service was prompt, polite and efficient.

Thank you Stefan for the wonderful food in your restaurant. We both loved the Scallop Pies. We had room 11 and found it very spacious and comfortable. Unfortunately it was a very cold day and it took a while for the heat to come on but we managed and it did not mar our stay. Lee and I will return... More

I recently stayed at the Tamar cove for a month attending a commercial dive school in the town and was totally blown away how Stefan the owner of this place went out of his way to accommodate me and to a budget that was affordable for that period of time.. His service was professional and friendly and I don't think... More
