The positive? It was clean. The room was dated, the heater didn't work, the water pressure was dreadful. To top it off the police had to be called when fellow guests had a domestic which the hotel staff did nothing about for hours. Don't waste your money.

Recently we had to stay in Richmond for an Airforce Cadet Ball. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was top notch, especially the freshly made to order juices. The spa bath, in the enormous bathroom, was a wonderful way to relax before our night out. We were warm and cosy, even in the middle of winter... More

Walk in, mouse poo on fridge. Walk to the left, mouse poo on the cupboard. Walk into the next room and put your bags down onto mouse poo. And if that isn't bad enough, cook some toast in the toaster right next to mouse poo. Went to reception to only be told that it's winter and mice come indoors. Not... More

Dated cluttered poor facilities. Water pressure to shower poor, bathroom very small & cluttered, no exhaust fan. Bed uncomfortable. Parking area access restricted external lighting poor . Floor boards to restaurant loose & rotting in front of service counter.

Bookef a spa suit ... not cheap ... spa didn't work ... tried to put the heater on didnt work ... went to clean my teeth dead silver fish in the sink. For what we paid I would have hoped for better standards. Arms on couch dusty so questionable cleanliness. Office staff pleasant and helpful. Think about somewhere else as... More

Four friends and I stayed at the Colonial from 14-17 May 2014. Although the decor is dated, the welcome was pleasant, the rooms had ample space, were very clean, the beds were comfortable, and the showers were hot. We asked for, and were provided with, a toaster. We also ate at the Restaurant - The Brasserie, on each of our... More

Arrived and discovered no tv control, phone not working. Sorted out quickly enough with staff. Beds very uncomfortable, didn't top up the little milk containers the second day. No fly screens on door or window so mozzies got in. RAAF planes fly in extremely low late at night sounds like you are getting landed on! As for the restaurant attached... More

I needed accommodation in Richmond so I chose this motel because Best Western is a well-known brand so I did expect that it should have certain standards. I stayed there for 4 nights in late December to early January. Check-in and check-out were quick without any fuss. My room was very spacious. It's old alright, but it's clean and was... More

Stayed here for 2 nights with my family of 5. Had a decent sized family room with kitchen. Kids had 3 single beds in one area then we had a bed in another closed off area where the kitchen was. Bathroom was large, shower had great pressure. Was a bit noisy at night with other guests banging doors. The on... More

I chose this motel because I needed accommodation in Richmond NSW. The motel is a little faded but was clean and comfortable. I'd rate it as no more than a 3 star establishment. Staff were friendly and efficient. Everything in my room worked. Facilities were OK although the bed was a bit firm for my liking. There was an excellent,... More
