We had a great night here. It's a beautiful old mansion set in peaceful gardens which makes you wonder at the history and who the original owners were. The furniture and décor fitted the style of the house but was in good condition and very comfortable. The bedrooms were very comfortable and they've done a good job with heating in... More

I'm always a sucker for 'quirky old world charm' in a hotel. No boring motel 'box' for me thank you! This place delivered. It felt like stepping back in time to a grander age and a slower pace. A combination of 'ghost house', museum, and Fawlty Towers, but not with Fawlty Towers service I hasten to add! The rooms were... More

A very big old mansion which would be beautiful if it was done up to its heyday. Overall not a bad place to stay if you like old dusty places. A great big clean of the house and gardens would make it a very beautiful house.

Stayed as part of a group Yulefest Christmas in July. Relaxed as soon as we walked in the door. Clean & comfortable accommodation with many options to cater for different groups like ours or the individual. 3 course meal & breakfasts in the dining room were great. The character & charm of this old manor & great hosts was what... More

I stayed at the manor house with a group of friends for a 40th celebration. Was a great trip. The manor house was not a pristine and clinical hotel which I loved. Hosts were attentive and knowledgeable about local environs. Breakfast was great and we booked a 3 course dinner in the private dining room for the Saturday night. Very... More

Spent the Anzac Day long weekend at this charming character hotel. We had the Orchard View apartment, with its sunny balcony and large lounge/dining and two bedrooms - it was extremely spacious and suited our needs to a T. There were electric blankets on the beds, a gas fire in the lounge and well and truly enough blankets to keep... More

I organized a 2 day retreat for a group of 30 software developers at BMMH. I was looking for something with an interesting atmosphere – different from the usual sterile corporate function venue. I was in the Blue Mountains for holidays so popped in to a few places to find something interesting and decided on BMMH. The retreat was fantastic... More

I love this friendly hotel. I have been staying here since I was about 7years old and every year I love going back. Besides the awesome customer service, friendly staff and wonderful local attractions, I love the fact that it snows! There are not many places where you can have the spacious but cosy, warm room that when you wake... More

Every year we indulge the family with a winter retreat from the city to the mountains to reunite the children with their rural heritage and day trips to the caves. And every year the children ask if we can stay at the beautiful grand old house in Mt Victoria, which they tend to talk about extensively more than any of... More

What a nightmare Terrible customer service Run down old mansion that smelt musty and had a spooky feel. Empty rooms everywhere Peak winter season only two guests for massive double story guesthouse Cold and old delapated furniture Needs more than a face lift. I've been harsh as a warning
