My husband and I really enjoyed our stay. Great amenities including the huge indoor pool. Loved the big country breakfast and friendly staff. Will return for sure. Our dog enjoyed it too! Thank you for making us feel welcome.

Our family of 3 (2 adults and Miss12yrs) stayed overnight with an extended checkout. We fed the alpacas and cuddled a 4day old kid(baby goat). We swam in the pool and relaxed in the spa. It was a peaceful stay - just what we wanted. The cabin was well appointed with comfortable bed, choice of pillows; the kitchen had extras... More

Like most things, feelings are based on perceived value. There is nothing greatly wrong with Madison's but is though overpriced for quality and what you get. It can't be compared to a resort but as a "retreat", it probably suits family getaways. Unfortunately, the cabins are more set up for couples than family groups. The design is close to 80's... More

It is interesting that your review is so different to your review of us a year prior. We have decided to repaint the cabin that you stayed in – hopefully it won’t look as dated in the future. It was built in 1995, so definitely not “80s” design (with digital LCD TV, DVD player, electric cooktop, microwave, digital clock radio,... More

We wish we could say thank you to a wonderful stay at Madisons but unfortunately we can't. We as a family were attending a wedding nearby and the wedding party had booked the whole resort for the night. We were very surprised to find the accommodation was for our two daughters to share two horrible sofa beds in the lounge... More

As you stated in your review, the wedding party made the booking at our RETREAT (not a resort) – they chose to have the breakfasts supplied to the cabins, rather than in the Gazebo as suggested by us. They also selected that cabin for you – the one that we recommend for couples as the bedroom door has a glass... More

My partner and I were on a bike trip from Wollongong so we could dine at The Apple Bar, Bilpin. We decided to stay overnight and they recommended Madison's and I am so glad we made the call to stay. We were lucky to get a spa cabin at such short notice and what a treat it was. From the... More

This place has a number of accommodation options that suit bathe family or couple looking for a weekend away. The cabins are spread far enough apart to provide adequate privacy with plenty of space to spread your legs. A half size Olympic pool and über-large heated spa all indoors. Yes indoors away from the cold are just perfect for the... More

I stayed here with my dogs last week and found it the perfect location for us all, exceptionally maintained, friendly, helpful managers with great amenities. Lovely walking track around the property, beautiful views, quiet and very comfortable. Great breakfast ingredient too. Will be back with the family next time as the kids would love it. Thank you :)

My husband and I booked this as a last-minute, one night escape from Sydney and couldn't have been happier with our choice. From the moment we arrived, we were made welcome - from the generous breakfast hamper to the patient explanation of how to light a fire (we city folk aren't always versed in the ways of the wild west!)... The cabins are clean but quite sparse and not too cosy. I thought this would be a good place for a family as it was meant to be a farmstay but was disappointed as they have alpacas and goats but its not really a place with lots of farm animals to interact with the kids. It is also very quiet... More

This review comes as a surprise to us as you seemed to be enjoying your stay and asked to stay longer after you checked out. We do not expect the cabin to be left in the “same” condition, but a blanket had burn marks (had to be thrown out) and crockery was broken, the other blanket had to be washed... More
