We stayed at Mountain Lodge for one night midweek. The room was clean and everything was in good working order. The heater kept the room nice and warm - the only downside was that we could not work out how to adjust the thermostat. The bed was very comfortable and we had a great nights sleep. We would definitely come... More

We stayed as a group of 2 families for one night in one of the Jenolan Cave Cottages. The cottage was located in a nice setting not far from the main entrance to the caves. The cottage was very basic but comfortable and warm even though the temperature outside was very cold. The kids enjoyed feeding the very friendly kangaroos... More

We stayed one night at Jenolan Caves house and we had a great time. The bed was comfy and the shower was nice. We ate at the bar for dinner and that was good. The caves are mind boggling and we did lots of bush walking (tracks aren't well marked so follow a map not signposts). It was quite expensive... More

Overall the accomodation is of the standard you would expect for such an old building (creaks and groans and gurgling hot water boilers). We stayed with 2 other couples in the Grand Classic rooms (King Beds and own ensuite). Price was reasonable, but did not include breakfast ($25 per head). We took coats, scarves and beanies and ended up sleeping... More

The wood cottage are really nice outside but the inside is not very welcoming, old, tired and not a lot of dishes for a family to use. The place is filled with lots of Kangaroos which is nice and the Jenolan caves are worth seeing.

Well worth a trip to both the Jenolan Caves House and the actual caves. Staying there worked out really well for us - we explored the Blue Mountains in the day, then checked into the hotel that evening & did the night cave tour. No sense exploring caves during the day and wasting daylight. Anyway, the hotel is right at... More

We had a Lovely room though the heating was far too high and we had no way of turning it down. We were greeted by a rather rude lazy chap at reception who when asked could we arrange an extended departure time informed us it was totally out of the question as the next day was Friday.I read the Hotels... Old, tired, cold, noisy. Very Poor Value overall. The room (most expensive with ensuite) had carpet missing, a blind that would not go up, damp coming through the shower wall into the bedroom with peeling cracked paint and plaster, windows that would not close in the bathroom making it very cold, no GPO (power outlet) in the bathroom for razors... We enjoyed our stay at the Jenolan Caves Cottages - note that this is different to Jenolan Caves House itself. As we expected, the properties are fairly basic, but they are great for families. The properties are well equipped for heating - a great gas fireplace in the main room, and heaters in the bedrooms. This is pretty important in... More

A great weekend was had by my wife & myself for a special birthday for her. The room was great although it could have been a little warmer especially for my wife. The dining room for our dinners & breakfasts was very good, we were there during Christmas in July, loved the breakfasts. Staff in dining room for both meals... More
