Where do you start? Phil and Ellen, thank you so much for a beautiful experience, above and beyond what we expected, beaut brekkie, fantastic room, great location, if you need a 100% break this is the place. Firstly Carcoar itself is a quaint historic town to stay in and close to Blayney and Milthorpe and the Orange Districts attractions. I found Stoke House B and B on several websites, read the trip advisor reviews and decided this was going to be our little place to stay for our Anniversary getaway. Well, it doesn't disappoint, it delivers. Your... More

Stoke House is a quiet, comfortable B&B with a 5* Resort atmosphere and feel. Phil, Ellen & Rosie treat the guests like family and be prepared for a breakfast of champions. The only disappointment is we didn't stay longer, definitely be back.

Thank you Phil and Ellen for your kindness and generous service. The room was delightful, crispy clean and refined, loved the classic desk. This beautifully presented old hotel from the 1840's gold rush and bushranger days is an absolute gem, with only 4 bedrooms it's never going to be too crowded, relaxation is guaranteed. Service, breakfast and attention to detail... More

Spent a mini break here for our Anniversary. Host and Hostess very helpful. Plenty of space and areas to relax in. Enjoyed Jannei Goat Cheese on the veranda and then a very pleasant meal at the pub. Walked everywhere and on the Saturday Sunday the town is open with gift and a china shop. Marvellous package stay with breakfast to... More

We really enjoyed our stay at Stoke House. Ellen and Phil were fantastic hosts and the rooms were well pointed and great value for money. Thanks for the great breakfasts. Carcoar is a charming old town to visit with many fantastically preserved heritage buildings which give you a real feeling of stepping into another time. Staying at Stoke House is... More

Unfortunately we only spent one night at Stoke House. Would have loved to stay another couple of nights as this place is truly worth staying at. Our room with ensuite was so comfortable and the old style furniture was beautiful. The lounge room to be shared with one other room, was large and inviting decorated also in the old style... More

We had a wonderful weekend in September at Stoke House. Phil & Ellen are lovely, warm, caring hosts who went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable, happy and well fed! We had a lovely lunch catered by friendly hosts Philip and Ellen. Scrumptious home made pea and ham soup with a visit to our table by waitress Rosie. Picturesque gardens perfect for a Spring morning or afternoon tea with local feathered wildlife all about.
