St. Mount's is a very unique guest house with a whole lot of history & character. It does have somewhat of an eerie feel being that this hotel would have a lot of history. My partner & I stayed for two nights - the first night being in the king spa & the second in a smaller queen room. There... More

The hotel is well located way off the highway on a service road - we were in a room facing the highway and could not hear any noise The house is beautiful Very comfy bed Great staff Could easily stay 4 days Parking perfect Super hot and cold breakfast Treat yourself to a trip back to 1880 Duncan - crows... There is a big difference between a property that is quirky or even nostalgic in its styling and one that is old, cold and shabby! Alberts Cottage is the later. There was nothing nice about it and really should not be offered out as accommodation

Worn out old sheets and towels.Horrible smell throughout the house. No firewood supplied as cold weather unseasonable and they said we could go and buy our own.We were also asked to supply our own milk as none was left in fridge.A sign in the kitchen warning us we would be fined if we didn't wash up and put away our dishes... Thanks for your review. Just a couple of points i should clarify..The sheets and towels are not old, in fact the sheets are supplied to us daily from a commercial laundry. Milk? Just ask and we will give it to you, Train? Not much I can do about that I'm afraid. the tariff is by no means expensive, and the... More

Stayed for our 29th anniversary weekend but were a little disappointed in the size of the room and the traffic noise. Bathroom and toilet cubicle are way to small and awkward to access. There are no windows to open only French doors that open onto a public verandah so we couldn't get fresh air without letting in more traffic noise.... More

My wife and I stayed at Alberts Cottage for three nights for the fourth year running. Please see my prior honest evaluations and nothing has changed. This place is a little gem in the blue mountains. Jack, Malina, Gareth and Tracey really know how to treat guests and they are so enthusiastic about their business and the Blackheath area in... More

My husband and I recently had an overnight stay at St Mounts. The guesthouse comprises a maze of rooms decorated in a very eclectic fashion with welcoming staff to greet us. The bed in our spacious king room was extremely comfortable. A large bathroom with spa bath and shower and a double basin arrangement. Shame about the dripping tap in... More

Thank you very much for your review. We do remember you, as my wife was delighted that you were celebrating your birthday and gave you a complimentary glass of wine for the occasion. My apologies for the dripping tap, I have been trying to source the very unique ceramic tap canister for 2 months now and as luck would have... More

We booked out the cottage for two nights and had the most fun stay ever. The Murder Mystery hosted dinner was so much fun, and the food was simply amazing! The cottage was comfortable with a big open fire and lots of character ~ loved it!!

Just had a fantastic stay St Mounts. The staff were friendly and the room was comfy, spacious and luxuriously decorated. The restaurant there was also some of the best Italian food I've ever had. Would definitely recommend.
