We had a wonderful 2 nights at Kubba Roonga heritage guest house. The luxury spa en suite room was very clean and comfortable. It was just so relaxing to unwind in the spa after walking all day. The fire place in the common room was perfect for chilling out with a glass of wine after dinner. It was so cozy... More

Thank you very much for your lovely review. Yes, we are very lucky being centrally located to the main attractions in Blackheath that we can recommend to our guests, and greatly enjoy the peace and quiet in ALL our rooms as a result of being well away from the 24/7 noisy Highway and Railway, yet close enough to walk to... Stayed as a couple for 3 nights. Common areas are very comfortable and cosy. Our room was well appointed but somewhat small for a spa room. Break fast was more that adequate with hosts trying to please. Hosts are a little bit excessive with rules and signs.

Thank you for staying with us and your comments. Our signs are subtle and short, common to all hoteliers, and designed to ensure the comfort, safety & security of all our guests, especially as our Guesthouse is Heritage Listed it deserves a high degree of care and diligence by all staying to ensure it will continue for another 100 years. This is a high standard b&b, clean and comfortable. The room was quite cosy but we managed to squeeze in a portacot. Be sure to relax in the common living area in front of a roaring fire. Breakfast is nothing short of superb!

Have stayed before under previous ownership. Really impressed by the welcome from the new owners. They have made some wonderful improvements, and were very helpful. It was lovely that Chris encouraged us to have a takeaway meal in the guesthouse when we didn't want to go away from the lovely log fire.

This was our first stay at a Guesthouse and were made very welcome from the very first moment we walked in. The house was warm and cosy and Chris showed us around to explain not only the layout of the Guesthouse but also the history of the house. The spa room was extremely clean as was the bathroom . It... Such a great time away. Both Chris and Graeme were the perfect hosts, full of knowledge and very helpful. Our room was beautiful and the gardens outstanding. Felt like I went back in time. It was nice, after a day out, to come back to a warm and inviting environment, not to mention how yummy breakfast was. Just perfect!!!!! Thanks.

Service and cleanliness is fantastic. Breakfast was well sized and impeccably cooked. Hosts chris and Graham are brilliant in what they do. Felt very relaxed in this beautiful and quaint guest house. Highly recommend a weekend getaway for any aged couple. Much prefer this type of accomodation to the larger hotel chains.

It's always great to see when our guests GET that staying at a Guesthouse is more like a home than a Motel/Hotel. The service is more personal and you are staying in someone's home. So when guests come and stay with us and show the same respect to the guesthouse and its owners it is very much appreciated. Thank you... More

This is our 3rd visit to Kubba Roonga Guesthouse we liked it so much we invited our friends and booked out the Guesthouse. We went for a weekend away to escape the city, and Kubba Roonga turned out to be a perfect escape.
