Run by an interesting couple this heritage listed B+B becomes an authentic Nepalese restaurant by night! The rooms are basic but clean and warm. Relax by the fire in the sitting room or sketch the pretty outside of the house. In summer there's a cute garden to sit in. The breakfast was beautifully cooked and perfect. The service refreshingly humble.

Have stayed here before but this time the managers were extremely friendly, helpful and just lovely people. My room was perfect for what I needed for my short stay. The bed was very comfortable, lovely fresh towels and linen everything I needed. There was a seperate entrance which was great to come home late or leave early. The breakfast was... More

Tony and Dolma are fantastic hosts and we really enjoyed our stay at Norwood. We would have loved to stay longer! They helped us plan a great day of walking in the Blue Mountains national park and are very knowledgeable about the local area. We enjoyed a delicious Nepalese meal in their restaurant in the lodge (only open Thurs to... More

I had a lovely 1 night stay at Norwood with friend. Our hosts Tony and Dolma were very welcoming and obliging with any of our requests. They were also very engaged with their guests but in a non-intrusive way. On Saturday evening, we enjoyed some bubbles and canapes by the fire (which we were able to bring in from the... More

It was a bitterly cold weekend when we stayed at the Norwood, but we were enveloped by the warm welcome, toasty rooms and comforting food (brekkie & Nepalese dinner) of this cosy B&B. The owners are so helpful and nothing is too much trouble, we're just sorry we had to dash off and didn't get a proper chance to thank... More

We stayed here as a couple for my birthday weekend treat. We loved every moment of our stay! When we arrived, we were asked if we'd like some tea on the sun drenched veranda, which was a lovely touch. We had a queen room, the bed was so comfy and the room is small but cosy with adjoining bathroom (spotless).... More

Travelled with another couple for an overnight trip to the Blue Mountains. On arrival we were warmly welcomed with a cup of tea provided in the very comfortable shared lounge area. We also enjoyed pre dinner drinks here before walking across the hall to the restaurant. Fabulous, no need to drive anywhere and the food was delicious. Delicate, flavoursome Nepalese... More

Had a great stay at Norwood with 3 other couples for a walking weekend. The weather was atrocious, didn't get much walking in.So it was great they have a lounge area where we gathered for games and snacking. Rooms were smallish but clean and warm.Had everything in them except a bath which would have been heaven! Tried the Nepalese onsite... More

Stayed here a few weeks ago. We had seen good reviews and they were justified. Our room was nice a very reasonably priced. It included a tasty and enormous English breakfast. The couple running this lodge could not have been more pleasant and went out of their way to be friendly and helpful. we felt very welcome rather than just... More

Excellent clean and comfortable accommodation in the blue mountains with friendly hosts that provides so many helpful tips on where and when to visit the places of interest and good restaurants. Pity we did not stay long enough to try their Nepalese restaurant which opens Thursday to Sunday only. Only 7 rooms to let, so book early especially over weekends.
