The Norwood Mountain Lodge is a small B&B in the heart of the Blue Mountains. The B&B is in well renovated old building. The rooms are clean and offer all you need for a weekend trip. The breakfast is made fresh and the owners are very helpful and friendly. Despite being on the main highway and next to the train... More

My wife and I stayed here on a Saturday night. Our hosts Dolma and Tony were very welcoming and friendly, lighting a fire for us when we arrived and looking after us very well. Our room was small but nice. This isn't an all mod-cons type of hotel. It is a charming 19th century building with everything kept in good... More

We stayed overnight on a Saturday. Warmly greeted by Tony, Dolma and their son. We instantly felt welcomed. Rooms are basic but lovely and clean. Warm lounge area to sit by the fire and chill. In the morning we were served a yummy full breakfast which was included in our tariff. Thank you for a great stay.

Booked a twin room for a friend & I on a Saturday night recently. We only got the room due to a late cancellation and I am very glad we ended up here. Tony & Dolma were very friendly and welcoming. The room was spotlessly clean and nicely appointed - we wanted for nothing. Despite the freezing weather (it snowed!)... More

A great place to explore the Blue Mountains from, that is if you wont to leave this great place. Had dinner then we went to the lounge and talked with others staying there to the wee small hours no phones no tv no computers just talking. Thank you Dolma, Tony and son. PS Thanks for copying the Photo.

The Base Camp restaurant which operates within the Norwood Guest House is truly one of Blackheaths' treasures..Affordable and delectable authentic Nepali cuisine is served in the gracious old dining room which immediately transports one to faraway exotic climes... Large Brocaded Buddhist Thankas adorn the walls.. Lulling Nepalese chants play quietly in the background... On a cold rainy night, there is... More

Right in the center of Blackheath with off road parking available. Easy check in with Dolma, one of the hosts. Our room was nice and clean but a little on the small side but they did have a lovely guest lounge with a wood fireplace which was very comfortable so we made use of that while using wifi. Breakfast was... More

After avoiding the Blue Mountains for many years due to poor accommodation choices, this was a gem of a find. It is a true guest house where you receive a warm welcome from Tony and Dolma, and then continued hospitality with cooked breakfasts, a log fire in the lounge room, and informative suggestions on walking tracks, other activities to do,... I want to thank Tony and Dolma for making my stay such a pleasure. Wonderful hospitality with a cup of tea offered on my arrival. Charming old place but with all the mod cons where needed. Yes, I agree with other reviews, my weekend in Blackheath was a treat with these wonderful, friendly hosts in their charming B&B Lodge. I... More

Norwood Mountain Lodge is an ideal place to stay in Blackheath. Luxurious it is not; very comfortable it is with nice rooms, great bathrooms, all facilities in the room, and spotlessly clean. I am neurotically sensitive to traffic noise, and at times I could hear the trucks and cars on the highway, but since the rooms are at the rear,... More
