Tony and Dolma are the perfect hosts in what is an excellent value place to stay. They couldn't have made us more welcome, with loads of helpful advice on the area. They even went out of their way to give us a lift at the end of our linear walk, taking us back to our car. The rooms were everything... More

This very good lodge is owned and run by a charming Australian and his Nepalese wife. Both are warm and super hosts. Tony, the owner, kindly drove us to the trail head so that we could do a shuttle walk on one of our three day stay. The breakfast is wonderful with made to order eggs, great sausage and excellent... To start off the warm welcome from the female owner was very nice. It encluded a pot of tea in the lounge. The room was well equipped as was the bathroom. The only point I could make is that the decor is not my style (good luck to me to find one that is). Clean and to my surprise a... More

Tony and Dolma are excellent hosts and made us feel like special guests in their house, although they were fully booked and extremely busy. They asked after our plans and gave great recommendations. We don't have a car and Tony very kindly dropped us off at the beginning of the Grand Canyon walk - it would have been a long... More

Stayed here while performing at the Blackheath Choir Festival. Great Location, walking distance to everything in town. The whole place is quite charming, an old-style house. The rooms and clean and comfortable - tea and coffee fixings in the room. Bathroom was very good. The owner and his wife were extremely lovely and helpful. The dinner cuisine was fantastic -... Tony and Dolma run a cosey homely styled b&b with nepalese themed meals and old world charm. Genuinely lovely people . Great meals. Central location on greatwestern Hway blackheath makes for a logical base camp for an active exploration of the area

a building dated 1888 is bound to have some issues in 2014 and this was evident in the knocking pipes during the night that woke us up at least 4 times. the rooms are small but tidy and well kept - like the rest of the place. the shared lounge room is warm and inviting. the hosts were friendly, welcoming... If you're looking for a place to stay in Blackheath, stay here. An old-school B&B where you're made to feel at home immediately. Nice warm log fire. Perfect spot from which to explore the mountains- we even got a lift from manager Tony to Pulpit Point for a walk. Will be back to try the restaurant.

After looking for accommodation in the different villages in the Blue Mountains, we finally booked a room at the homely Norwood Mountain Lodge. The room was big enough for two with an en-suite bathroom. Tony and Dolma did everything they could to simplify and make our stay as enjoyable as possible: recommending walks and hikes, dropping us off and picking... More

We have visited Blackheath many times before, but this was our first stay at the Norwood Mountain Lodge. Very quaint B&B, in a good location yet surprisingly quiet location. Features central heating, two fireplaces in the lounge, comfy bed. Breakfast was reasonable.
