A family member has organised for us to gather here for lunch 30/12/14. The setting is good. Some different spaces indoors, an outdoor deck and an outside area with tables (dog friendly at that bit) which was all quite nice. The menu was decent for a pub and we ordered. But the food took 90 mins for some of our... More

We wanted to relax with a couple of beers and some dinner and this country style pub fitted the bill. The bar staff were friendly and happy to chat as they worked. The menu had variety and they allowed me to mix and match off the menu which is often not accommodated. My salmon was cooked nicely and his beef... More

Popped in for lunch while visiting the Blue Mountains. Food was good pub style food, servings very generous. Burgers were very tasty. Pricing was very reasonable. Has a nice looking outdoor beer garden for those visiting on a sunny day.

My family stayed here overnight on a visit to the Blue Mountains. Wasn't sure what to expect after reading some of the early reviews of the place but we were pleasantly surprised. The staff were friendly and attentive, the room was large and clean - we had a bunk bed, single and a double bed. There were plenty of blankets... More

Yes, avoid this place like leprosy. The walls are made of toilet paper, every noise come through. A big group of blokes probably high on speed or ecstasy partying all night made sleeping completely impossible. The staff do nothing. The dinner in the restaurant would have been nice if we got the food earlier than one hour. The problem is... More

Where to start regarding our experience first impression was the pub looked impressive a historic looking pub small little restaurant though cosy. Menu has a large variety which was nice to see. That's all I can say was good. Rude staff member very abrupt no smile terrible attitude should of just left there and then. Ordered our drinks change thrown... More

Loved it. The food is pretty good even for Sydney pub standards. Room small but clean. Love the real fire and a nice location away from katoomba. Locals in the bar are friendly and so are the bar staff. It's nice to go to a local place and enjoy the food, accomodation and for it to be affordable with no... More

Great location, clean and comfortable room and very friendly and attentive staff. Our meals from the bistro were delicious and I'd highly recommend their deep dish pies on a cold winters night. We had no issues with noise from the pub when we went back upstairs. Very happy with our stay, well above expectations.

Good location, food and services. People seem to be complaining about service but its a hotel not a resort. I thought they did a good job of running the bar, taking orders and keeping the place clean.
