As a local I would love to have a local where you could have decent pub food. I ate there last night and can only say that the standard of the food was atrocious. I don't like chips so asked if I could have mashed potato with the fish and was told that this was not possible, even though mashed... More

Having read the reviews about quieter rooms in the back, that's what I requested. They were not fully occupied, but I got a room at the front instead. Indeed, even with earplugs, I was woken up a couple of times in the night by eighteen wheelers driving by on the road out front and the train on the tracks across... More

The back rooms (away from highway) are not bad. We have stayed there before. This time we had to take a front room. It was stifling so of course we opened the window and even the door at one stage. The trucks and trains ensured we hardly slept. The shower recess door did not closeand the floor ran away from... More

A family member has organised for us to gather here for lunch 30/12/14. The setting is good. Some different spaces indoors, an outdoor deck and an outside area with tables (dog friendly at that bit) which was all quite nice. The menu was decent for a pub and we ordered. But the food took 90 mins for some of our... More

We wanted to relax with a couple of beers and some dinner and this country style pub fitted the bill. The bar staff were friendly and happy to chat as they worked. The menu had variety and they allowed me to mix and match off the menu which is often not accommodated. My salmon was cooked nicely and his beef... More

Popped in for lunch while visiting the Blue Mountains. Food was good pub style food, servings very generous. Burgers were very tasty. Pricing was very reasonable. Has a nice looking outdoor beer garden for those visiting on a sunny day.

My family stayed here overnight on a visit to the Blue Mountains. Wasn't sure what to expect after reading some of the early reviews of the place but we were pleasantly surprised. The staff were friendly and attentive, the room was large and clean - we had a bunk bed, single and a double bed. There were plenty of blankets... More

Yes, avoid this place like leprosy. The walls are made of toilet paper, every noise come through. A big group of blokes probably high on speed or ecstasy partying all night made sleeping completely impossible. The staff do nothing. The dinner in the restaurant would have been nice if we got the food earlier than one hour. The problem is... More

That's all I can say was good. Rude staff member very abrupt no smile terrible attitude should of just left there and then. Ordered our drinks change thrown... More
