We stayed in a lovely, recently redecorated cottage in a beautiful bushland setting. All that we needed was on hand from a well equipped kitchen, to a warm pool, even DVDs and a small games room. The owners were friendly and very helpful. My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely be returning here to explore this... More

This does it exactly what it says on the tin... there are possums and it is a woodland hideaway. Okay, so the cabins aren't exactly "new" but that said, it is superb value for money, the cabins are clean and have everything you are looking for... wood piled high for the fire (yes! even in November we needed the wood... Thank you for taking the time to write a review of your stay at Federation Gardens & Possums Hideaway. So pleased you got to meet our possum mum and her (not so small now) baby and enjoyed your stay with us. Just this morning we saw our resident ducks with 7 new fluffy ducklings - so lots of babies on... More

I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone unless your possibly a backpacker! We stayed there for our mini honeymoon. When we arrived on the night of our wedding, we opened the door to find the fridge open & broken glass from a shelf smashed everywhere. When we called them to advise them, they told us that they won't do anything... More

Thank you Shellie C for taking the time to review your stay with us back in August. Whilst we strive to ensure our guests' have a memorable experience (for the right reasons), clearly on this occasion we fell short of your expectations. As a result of the feedback you provided during your stay we have replaced the fridge in question... More

A few girlfriends and I had the pleasure of staying in the cottage over the weekend and had a very pleasurable experience. Situated by many spectacular lookouts, swarms of rosellas and rhododendrons galore, the atmosphere spoke for itself. The swimming pool onsite was wonderfully relaxing- not too cold and not too warm. I had a late night dip while others... More

★★★★★ Best thing we've ever experienced! The cabin was beautiful but the very best thing was the people working. I've never ever met people as nice, gorgeous, happy, polite, helpful & funny. What an absolutely spectacular place, the wildlife and views are just simply breath taking!

We stayed recently in Possum 3, a treehouse. It was lovely, with an open fire and spa. Perfectly located to Evans lookout and near the wedding we attended. The views of alk the trees are lovely and you could also see a gauge in the distance. Comfortable bed and lovely room. I would stay again & recommend it!

for a weekend in the mountains away from the hustle and bustle this is a great place to stay. Easy to find, clean and tidy property with some nice walks and everything you need is on site including a pool BBQ area and fire pit. This is our second year of staying here and it was a good as we... More

We stayed in the cottage which accommodates up to 11 people. We had 8 adults in our group, and accommodation was very suitable with plenty of room to move. Very peaceful location, comfortable beds, fully equipped kitchen, lounge and dining room. Good location to get to all the main attractions in the Blue Mountains. The enclosed fire pit and swimming... Our extended family recently stayed at Federation Gardens for a family wedding held nearby. The cottages are comfortable, clean and quite adequate for such an occasion, where the family is together but separately accommodated. The children enjoyed the games room and pool and all made use of the BBQ and open fire room where we toasted marshmallows. The couple of... More
