We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend at Secrets Hideaway. The cottage was nice with a cosy wood fire and spa bath, amongst a nice garden setting. The kitchenette had all the necessities and delicious fresh bread and eggs for breakfast. The owner was very helpful & gave us a suggestion for a bush walk which we really enjoyed. Highly recommended!

This bed and breakfast is tucked away in a quiet and peaceful section of the blue mountains. Providing breakfast and plenty of firewood it is the perfect place to have a weekend getaway. The rooms are very cost and I truly recommend you come in winter time.

We wanted to get out of The city for the weekend and although have seen much of the Blue Mountains hadn't explored Blackheath before. I called Andre on Friday evening to say we were going to be arriving a little later than planned with a slow start out of Sydney. He said no worries and informed me he would get... More

Stayed here May 2014 for 2 nights over the weekend. Thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The owner was very friendly and welcoming, and even offered us a free night accommodation as they weren't booked on the Sunday night. We stayed in the 'loft' suite - very comfortable, new bathroom, very clean and everything you need for a short stay in the... More

In January we traveled to Australia. Andre, the owner/host of the Secret Hideaway made our time in the Blue Mountains one of the major high points of our trip. We had talked by phone before we booked and Andre recommended the Maid's room with bird feeder right out the window. He was very knowledgable about local birds and we saw... More

The room was very well presented, and the king size bed was extremely comfortable. The finishes were in keeping with the style attempted, and the facilities were good. The location is great and the host (Andre) was very helpful and made some very useful suggestions for the weekend.

We were greeted warmly by Andre, who gave us a full rundown on sights of interests and tips to get the most out of our stay. Our cabin was quaint, clean and comfy with the wonderful smell of freshly baked bread. All this in a beautiful garden setting.

It cost a little more than we would normally pay, but since it was a treat we could justify it. And it was perfect! Lovely garden, friendly and welcoming host, delicious bread, peace and quiet and privacy, comfortable bed and rooms - we couldn't have asked for a better weekend! If you need a relaxing weekend away in a gorgeous... More

Had a wonderful Blue Mountains experience! The gardens are really lovely. Our kitchen was fine and the bed was comfortable. If you want a lovely, quaint accommodation then check this out. Also, Blackheath provided us with plenty of hiking to keep us busy and the town's little shops afforded opportunities. Will go back soon and stay longer to explore all around.

My husband and I booked last minute for a couple day weekday stay and booked the Maids Room. Upon our arrival, we were graciously offered our choice of rooms for the same rate as they were available. We chose to stay as booked and it was magical. Upscale country cozy furnishings perfect to the details with luxurious linens, towels, and... More
