stayed for three nights to view the blue mountains and found the location to be very good.motel is older but the room we had was very comfortable and very clean. the owners were very friendly and inviting and the cooked breakfast was very good.even though the motel was on the great western highway and near the railway line, we found... Hi Chris Thank you for your positive review. We take great care in the presentation of our rooms and value any feedback we get. As far as the noise levels are concerned, it would seem that each individual has different perceptions of these, so I am glad you had a good solid sleep. We look forward to welcoming you (or... More

At the end of an exhausting day, I arrived at this motel and got their last room. It was clean and neat, but very dated. In typical mountains weather it was cooI, misty and drizzling, the friendly owners lent me an umbrella to walk the short distance to a nearby hotel for a meal. Lucky that because I would have... Hi FarmerJohn I am glad we could accommodate you in the last available room and that you found it clean & tidy. We pride ourselves on that. It's however unfortunate that out of the 8 pillows available in that room, you could not find one to suit. As far as the waste management truck is concerned, unfortunately that is out... More

Great spot for a stopover on the way to Sydney, BUT, it is an older place and it is near the Great Western Highway so you hear cars trucks and trains all night, especially in the front rooms. The hosts are nice and very accommodating. The NRMA discount thing didn't seem to be a huge priority for mine hosts but... More

Stayed for one night during our month long tour in Australia, this place had plenty of charm, although it was old it was well kept. Lots of rustic wood gave it a cosy feel. A patio door led out into garden setting with tables and chairs for each room and apple trees with fruit on them. The front rooms alongside... More

Hi Peter Thanks for the positive comments. Glad you liked the rooms and the gardens. They are a feature especially in Autumn. We trust the nearby eateries were satisfying. regards Eddy More

The owner of this inn went above and beyond for us. Twice. We managed to get lost a few times, so we did not show up until almost 11pm, and he stayed up for us to help us check in. That was lovely. The second time was when my husband left his passport in the room. This man actually got... More

Like most guests, we planned an overnight stay at this motor inn. I booked a twin share room for my daughter and I on the internet for $130. When I arrived I was asked for $10 more as children cost extra. I thought this was very odd and have never experienced this anywhere in the world. Australian motels are already... More

I am afraid this was NOT a HIDDEN cost and you were not being charged for having a child. You booked with an online booking site, that stated $127 as the room charge, it also indicated Twinshare as $10 extra payable on check in. You agreed to this condition in order to process your booking with the booking site. This... More

Forward planning meant we'd reserved a room at the back of the motel, away from any traffic noise. On arrival, the welcome was warm and efficient. The room had everything we needed - coffee/tea making facilities, small fridge with basic mini-bar, clean bathroom with shower, a great firm queen sized bed, television with cable, good room heating and cooling, extra... Most charming warm hospitality your host is lovely. Her scones for afternoon tea are so fluffy an tasty. The little town of Blackheath is very central. The trees an quietness of BlackHeath Motorinn is ideal . Especially for couples.

We were in Australia visiting Relatives in Orange. We stayed in Blackheath while visiting the attractions in the Blue Mountains. Blackheath is a good central point for many tourist attractions. The Motor Inn was very comfortable and clean. Mr & Mrs Raets were very helpful with information on interesting attraction to visit. Almost in the centre of the town. An... More

Stayed in August 2013 with my girlfriend. Just drove up on a road trip finding places as we went from night to night and this was the best place we stayed in 3 weeks in Australia. Really comfy bed, warm and cosy when cold outside and with helpful owners with good DVD library. The price was a surprise when compared... More
