Just spent the past weekend at The Playhouse, part of a group of school friends and partners . This was our fifteenth annual get together, experiencing a different venue each year, including a week in Tuscany. We were all mightily impressed with the facilities, the food, but more importantly with Andrew and his wonderful staff. As other reviewers have said,... More

Stayed here for work for 2 nights. The hospitality was very good and the food was excellent both breakfast and dinner. They have a little theatrette and art exhibition. More

This is my first posting on Trip Advisor and I have stayed in over twenty countries across five continents but I felt compelled to review this one. I organised a Bridal Shower 'High Tea' for a girlfriend at The Playhouse Hotel and was blown away by how such a beautiful, artistic hotel with an intimate theatre could possibly be in... More

We felt like we were at home by the end of the stay. The food is first class and the staff are incredibly accommodating. There are so many different spaces in the hotel and always something going on. We loved it! Country hospitality at its best, yet class all over! More

We had a meeting there today. Wow!!! The food was to die for, the dessert yummo. The serve was absolutely brilliant, nothing was to much trouble, everyone was so polite and best of all everyone had a smile on their face. And we did too. Well done guys and girls. We will be back :) More

We stayed at The Playhouse in September 2011 with our 9 year old son, who had an absolute ball helping Andrew set up for a function not to mention hanging around the cinema. I have visited many times and always get a buzz from the vibe that Andrew, Haddon and the staff create. Everything's done with energy and enthusiasm. Nothing... More

We chanced upon The Play House quite by chance. We were tired and ready for a 'day off' from travelling.I think that the hotel and it's hosts Haddon & Andrew are wounderful! They immediatly plied us with coffee and a very clean and comfortable room. We were not able to eat there that night, but all the meals the next day were... More

In August 2011 I was in a group of 80 Outback Getaway participants for the Rotary Club of East Toowoomba. We stopped at the Hotel for lunch. A tasty well presented meal was provided and served very efficeintly, despite the large number of guests. The manager Andrew and his partner Haddon were great hosts and included a most interesting talk... More

A quirky, fun hotel that creeps up on you. Bright clean rooms, restricted menu but excellent food and a most welcoming host(s) with excellent and thoughtful service. Nothing is too much trouble and where else do you get a movie theatre on site. We will certainly stay there again when next in the area. More
