Merry Christmas Sebastian & Family! Will be back November, 2012 to visit your sanctuary, enjoy your genuine hospitality, and relax over drinks and your amazing pizza! For simply meandering down a jungle path after visiting the village of Yelapa in November, 2011, and wandering into your property because it looked like somewhere special, the four of us were warmly welcomed... My partner and I just stayed one night in Casita #5, facing the river. Oasis' host and owner greeted us upon our arrival early in the afternoon. We didn't have a reservation and just walked in off the path. After an afternoon of beautiful explorations around Yelapa, we settled in for a completely delicious and decadent meal at the Oasis... Our first trip to Puerto Vallarta a few years ago was actually just a stop-over. Our destination for the week was Yelapa, a 30 minute boat ride from Vallarta. We had been looking for an out-of-the-way location. We chose the Yelapa Oasis and we found exactly what we wanted. Don't expect to be pampered, at least not in the manner... More

Sunday night: sitting upstairs and listening to Ron Doering playing jazz. Looking out to the jungle, the moonlit lagoon and the gentle bay water beyond. The friendly waiter arrives with my dessert: Chocolate souffle served with a scoop of icecream. Is this heaven? Close. It's the Yelapa Oasis!! More

My partner and I were walking back to our hotel room when we ran into this great place and walked in. The new owner Sebastian took such good care of us that we went back for dinner. Dinner was excellent and the drinks as well. This place is a most do!! More

I just started work in Yelapa for the season and was worried about feeling comfortable in a new and strange envronment. Oasis welcomed me with open arms, literally, and I feel like part of the family. I stop here almost everyday to chat with owners and new friends Sabastian, his wife Natalia, and dearest mother Cheryl. The resort is gorgeous... More

Visited the Oasis and had a great meal, and drinks. They also have movies (good ones) every Friday. Cheryl, and Sebastian have taken over the Oasis, and are breathing new life into this location. More

The stay was amazing, everyone were great to us,very helpful with tips, directions, even other accomodations, the location is the best as far as I know if you enjoy time off where you do something other than the usual routine(the beach, the bar...).If you enjoy walking in jungle like conditions, meet locals, make new friends, this is the place for you.Special thanks also to our caretaker Edmondo(Ray) who... The Oasis is a perfect place to take your family, or for a romantic getaway. It is on over an acre of tropical garden property, meticulously cared for by the brothers. Several casitas throughout offer a clean and cozy experience tucked away in lush private greenery. The restaurant brings in fresh food often and the service is warm and welcoming.... More

I had never gone to mexico in any other fashion than camping or staying in super touristy hotels. This time was different. I heard about the Oasis through some friends, they spoke of open air palapas, mosquito nets, rainforest sounds (live ones! not even from a sleep machine!), endless tequila, and being literally a stones throw to the beach... well,...
