Absolutely stunning hotel, the staff are so friendly and attentive, the food is not like the French but it was the British cooking I have tasted. The rooms are something special, really enjoying our stay. Loved the little lamb to put outside the door for a not disturbing sign. More

Stayed here for one night in a suite, sir Edmund. The suite was on the top floor so we had sloping ceilings which for us wasn't a problem but if you were over 5ft 10 it could cause problems, however, having said that the room was enormous with a lovely lounge area overlooking parkland, a huge bed and fab bathroom.... We booked a Travelzoo special offer last year and were delighted by our room - spacious, luxurious furnishings and superb bathroom complete with flatscreen TV at the end of the bath! The Pass restaurant was excellent. Think hotel grounds will look better when the gardens are a bit more mature - in winter they currently look a bit bare! More

Did not stay at the hotel but went there for the afternoon tea. The staff were very friendly and polite. Service was a bit slow as it was very busy but the scones and cakes were wonderful! I was very impressed with how polite the staff was although they were busy. Will definitely stay there in the future. More
