We booked one night to attend an event on a Saturday night. The location wasn't perfect (a little out of town, but good for driving/parking) but the flexible rate was handy in case we needed to change our plans. We paid a rather high rate, that's the lottery with the flexible rate if you choose a popular date. The room... More

I agree with the other reviews on here - typical travelodge, near to a busy road and a Burgerking. What was different though was the warm welcome we were given on our arrival. That certainly isn't my normal travelodge experience! Ten out of ten for that. Room itself was perfectly adequate for one night. I did find my pet hate... More

The location was ideal for our needs but the interior definitely needs a coat of paint and the room was sad and needed cheering up. The Reception staff were very helpful with all the questions about the local area.

We had one night here on way back to Hertfordshire. Staff were very pleasant and helpful and knowledgeable about the area ie. directions and restaurants. Front bedrooms are a little noisy with main road nearby. Hotel is due a refurbishment shortly but our room was very clean and bed linen immaculate. Only downside restaurant attached is Burger King so breakfast... More

Having had one of my worst stays ever at the Travelodge in Hayle I wasn't expecting much. But to be honest, the price was very fair and while tired it wasn't too bad. The TV (which I didn't use) was an antique piece, but the bathroom was functional and the bed wasn't bad - the bedding and towels were good.... More

Check in was very comprehensive, Christine was so helpful and informative, met Derek later who was also friendly, great staff! Hotel itself was fine, shower bit useless and ok it is a bit worn around the edges but for £32 a night was fine. Slept well, served its purpose, entrance could be better signed as took wrong turn and had... More

Derrick is such a nice chap - really makes you feel welcome. Accommodation standard for Travelodge and clean - good value. Even the breakfast box (continental) was worth having. Motor bikers revving up in the morning was a disappointment, but not really Travelodge's problem. Just inconsiderate simple minded show offs!!!

Stayed for one night as we were visiting family nearby. As previously stated rooms are tired and ours smelt of damp. The road noise is quite loud if you have to sleep with the window open and unfortunately we had noisy neighbours above, but this isn't the hotels fault. I would stay again but only after a refurbishment and happily pay... More

Convenient to where we wanted to be, but no fans in room meant we had to leave windows open and there was a lot of external noise - as hotel is on a busy roundabout. No nets on ground floor rooms meant we had to keep curtains closed, which in turn kept the room too warm.

Super service - very hot room and road noise a bit loud with windows open. Bed too soft for us - but great value for money and lovely staff. Does need the promised refurb but still very nice and clean.
