We stayed for one night and have to say that we came away feeling disappointed... The room was decidedly average but not at an average price. The food in the restaurant was lovely and although the staff were polite and friendly it felt a little casual at times. We had to send the wine back twice because it was served... More

Climping is a lovely place accessed by a small road taling you to the beach but Baliffscourt is just off this...Its a secluded location with an amazing historical 16th century (indeed proabably earlier) campus of amazing architecture....the main building is amazing. Food is exceptional at any time of day. We had a feature room which was luxurious and continued the... More

We have been visiting the Baliffscourt Hotel for short breaks for many years now. Whenever we want to totally unwind in a beautiful, peaceful setting, this is always our No: 1 destination. This place is really one of a kind, hence our many holidays there since discovering the hotel eight years ago. The look of the hotel is quite hard... More

My family arranged a surprise lunch here, to celebrate my 40th. Had a fantastic time, the food was amazing, with the chef even adding additional veggie meals to the menu, as half of the party were vegetarian. The staff were all really friendly, with nothing too much trouble. We sat inside for the meal, in the restaurant and then went... More

I brought my god daughter here for a 21st lunch. I had left it quite late to book and was hoping for Amberley Castle -but we were completely delighted with the whole experience! Food was faultless, we sat in the courtyard which was really pretty. We chose from both the set menu and a la carte and did a mix... More

Visited for afernoon tea in the courtyard was beautiful. The hotel facilities look wonderful and the ground, spa and path to the sea delightful. Extremely helpful staff. Will definitely be back one day.

What a great place. Accommodation excellent, dog and child friendly. Food wonderful, Spa and pools exceptionally clean and how nice to swim in a heated outdoor pool. Most of the guests we spoke with had stayed before, the staff were very friendly and clearly happy in their work. We will visit again soon.

A wonderful location, with own path down to the sea, staff that were helpful and pleasant throughout, and a health spa with indoor and outdoor pools and jacuzzis. Not forgetting the peacock that wandered up to the door to display each morning. The evening meal was good to excellent, the tasting menu filling and mainly tasty. All in all a... More

Location is everything for this hotel. Set in a daffodil lined driveway it looks fantastic. Our room was nicely furnished with tea and coffee making facilities. Fresh milk was even brought to our room when required. With top service at all times and underground secreted tunnels connecting some of the buildings this place is certainly different. However, this all costs... More

Just returned from the most amazing hen party weekend for my daughter at this hotel. I swear they have their own micro climate as it is my 2nd visit out of season and glorious weather both times! Sunday was spent, firstly with a picnic on the beach (5 min walk), following by such a relaxed time in hot tub, sauna,... More
