Do not stay here in the summer!, no air conditioning and no fans were available. The windows were not even opened prior to arrival making for a dreadful nights sleep. Given that the hotel has recently been refitted these issues should have been addressed as part of the scope.

We have stayed in Travelodges before with no problems. However, I would not recommend this for anyone. They had mixed up our booking and dragged my husband, toddler and luggage all round the hotel to find a room. When we came to put our daughter to bed it was found to be dirty and full of hair. When we complained... More

This travelodge had been refurbished and was certainly in better condition than when we last visited. We were in a room close to the front door which meant a lot of noise as people went in and out. Must remember to ask for a room further down corridor next time. We had a family room. The king size bed was... More

Excellent quality room, spacious, big comfortable bed. New bathroom with bath, good shower. We had a room at the back, very quiet. Amazing value for money. Easy access but sat nav could not find it so we had to find it ourselves.

Having to attend a wedding in the Burgess Hill area, I checked out various hotels. For location and price this Travelodge stood out well above the rest. The hotel has been recently refurbished (a Great Plus!!), so the beds are acceptable and the showers actually work properly Overall the hotel is clean, easily accessable with plenty of (free) parking The... Room OK but work around hotel so not a very nice outlook. Curtains way too thin so that the path light outside shone into the room meaning the room was never dark. Awful shower as no water pressure. Expensive too.

Stayed here on my hen weekend, close to brighton only a taxi ride away. The hotel was fine. The rooms all newly decorated. But what made our stay great was the receptionist Dan. Nothing was too much trouble for him. 5 stars for customer service.

Stayed here for one night for work whilst en-route to Brighton. Easy to find, plenty of parking. Check in nice and easy, friendly, helpful staff. Room, although basic, had everything you needed. Clean towels, tea/coffee facilities. Shower nice and hot. Most importantly, bed was nice and comfy. Shell petrol station, Little Chef and Burger King on site too. Although, I... More

We were on holiday in the area for a week and chose the Hisckstead travelodge as it was central to all the places we wanted to visit. We found it very clean and the bed very comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. We are planning a return visit to the area later in the year hopefully and will definitely stay... More
