Pilstyes is a beautiful 'olde world' cottage. Roy and Carol's warm welcome, comfortable, clean home with many thoughtful touches and delicious breakfast made us wish we were staying longer. Thank you for your care to ensure that we had a wonderful stay.

Having spent nearly all day travelling, Carol and Roy's welcome was so appropriate, sensitive and much appreciated after wresting with car hire, airport lounges and the diversions in the fog! The room was brilliant; spacious, quiet and comfortable, and the bed - well, I've never slept so well. NExt morning's breakfast was just right, with a range of cereals, toast... More

Carol and Roy really made us welcome with a gentile cup of tea on arrival after a long drive and a beautiful breakfast in the morning. The Pilstyes is well located near to The Bluebell railway and only 15 miles from both Brighton and Gatwick. We hope to return soon.

My wife and I stayed with Roy and Carol on Saturday and had a wonderful time. Beautiful 16th century home, great hosts and delicious breakfast - wished we could stay another night. Lovely village too! We will definitely come back - perhaps stop for breakfast on route for the London - Brighton bike ride! Thank you

Thougherly enjoyed my stay at The Pilstyes B&B and was made to feel very welcome in a homely environment. Slept very well in a comfortable and generously sized en suite room. I will miss the lovely breakfast cooked on the Aga. The Location was great, a few restaurants, pubs and amenities within a stones throw and easy access to London,... More

We have stayed with Carol and Roy on a couple of occasions now, and they are the perfect hosts -- always going out of their way to make one feel welcome! The accommodations are incredibly comfortable, clean, cozy and have a lovely home-away-from-home feel. We have stayed in the adjacent cottage (fabulous!) and in the main house (fabulous too!). The... My partner and I stayed at The Pilstyes on Saturday, Roy and Carol are the perfect hosts. Our accommodation was in the Little Barn, separate from the main house. It was a very relaxing stay ,we will definitely be back! From Charlie and Cathy

We stayed at The Pilstyes for a long weekend whilst taking 2 classic cars to the Bluebell Railway Transport weekend. We had previously stayed earlier in the year and fell in love with whole package. From the very first email we were made to feel so welcome that when we arrived for our second stay it was like we were... More
