Couldn't fault the "wonderful" service from all the hard working staff who went out of their way to accomodate our family of 7 staying overnight. We had the whole of the accomodation to ourselves! Very clean and well worth the price for spacious rooms and huge bathroom, would definatley recommend to all, hope to get the chance to visit again sometime... More

My partner and I stayed just for a Sunday night after visiting the Bolney Estate Winery. We were early for check-in (which is at 14:00) so we were welcomed into the beer garden of the pub for a pint. The room (Cornelius) was exactly as photographed on the website. But on the ground floor, it was a hot day (South... More

In reviewing The Eight Bells at Bolney on New Year's Eve I inadvertently gave one circle as my overall rating. This is of course incorrect as you can see from my individual ratings. Please amend.. I have been there several times since and can only reiterate my original review - a very cosy, friendly and efficient pub where nothing is... More

This pub is a real gem. Step back in time and enjoy good old fashioned English hospitality. The staff are excellent, can't do enough for you and the food is to die for. We had three different meals on our table, all served in quick time and all excellent. Nearly forgot the beer, lovely pint so yes we will be... More

Major changes in my diary this week left me looking for a new hotel for Wednesday night. I needed somewhere between 2 clients and Bolney was, right in the middle. I poped of an email about 9:30pm and to my surprise received a reply at 10:45, saying that they could do a bit of juggling and fit me in. No... More

We recently stayed for 3 nights in the Bartholomew Room - what a fantastic find! Everything was perfect - immaculately clean, beautiful room and bathroom. So handy to have the pub across the road, excellent food including breakfasts, very friendly staff - pleasantly informal. Would thoroughly recommend this establishment and hope to return - whilst researching family tree have discovered... More

Stayed for one night in the Cornelius room, really comfortable and fantastic bathroom. Ate in the pub and had a wonderful meal with excellent service. Will definitely be back, as really convenient for visiting National Trust properties in the area.
