Despite the British summer being its usual dismal rain and more rain, we had a great time down in West Sussex. Alderwasley is a real haven of peace in an otherwise busy world. We stayed in the Yellow room in a comfortable king-size bed and we took a peak at the Blue room which looked fabulous and we decided that would be the choice for our next visit.
Wendy, the owner was really friendly and welcoming and after a few hours I felt like I'd been there all my life! She told us about the local restaurants which was very helpful
The breakfasts were very good. A good old Full English or fruit salad if you can resist the smell of grilling sausages.
I would definately go there again and have already told some people about it.
