The room was spotlessly clean, the bed comfortable and the person at reception very friendly and helpful, he offered to carry my bags up to my room. There was sum noise from the nearby road but it wasn't too bad. It was a little difficult to find as I could not see any signs for it from the road and... More

I know Travelodge offer cheapish accommodation, but I still expect a basic standard of cleanliness. The bathroom was filthy, with a broken toilet and blocked sink. The bedding was stained and there was a smell of urine in the bedroom, which the hotel tried to cover with bleach; therefore making it difficult to breath..!! We were offered a free stay... More

Stayed in this hotel recently for work and have to say I cannot fault it! The room was presentable, clean and comfortable and the staff were polite and friendly. I dealt with the Hotel Manager, I believe her name was Sarah? Such a lovely lady and refreshingly professional. She advised me on the local area and would always have a... More

Arrived to book in to find the receptionist layed back in her chair on her personnal phone, so had to wait to check in. Noise in the corridors in the early hours from people coming in after a night out. Extra bed was like a slab of concrete not able to get comfortable on.

Sat Nav takes you to nearby Premier Inn, then its a bit of a palaver to u-turn on the dual carriageway and then take a left at the Shell garage BEFORE the Premier Inn. Rooms very clean, but TV remote did not work properly and only Freeview channels. WiFi needs to be paid for. No proper food so short walk... More

If you need somewhere to stop close the M5 M/way; then this Travelodge is perfect, it is 5 minutes off junction 2; convenient location just behind a petrol station with plenty of free parking & a couple of pub restaurants close by

Reception staff at Oldbury friendly and helpful as usual. Refurbishment makes a difference and for the first time ever in a Travelodge the curtains close! Smoking at doorway is still an issue. TV provision a bit odd. About 20 channels possible. Maybe 7 or 8 random channels and then half of same with subtitles + a number marked TDx. Is... More

The hotel was clean and fresh, the staff were all very friendly and helpful. The hotel was nice and quiet. It was brilliant. we use this hotel every time we need to see mother-in-law as she lives just around the corner.

Having been working in Birmingham for a few weeks the Travelodge became my home for the duration. I have to admit the place was just what I needed. It was clean, tidy and don't think I've slept better. The addition of the soap and body wash dispensers in the bathroom last week was great and there was no disturbance when... More

The staff was welcoming and very helpful, the room was clean and fresh it was close to the venue we were attending. I love the quietness of the area, there was not a lot of shops in the area but it is quite easy to get to the shopping mall. I would loved to have a fan and a little... More
