I can honestly say this has got to be 1 of the world's worst flea pits. Surly staff, broken and dated furniture, filthy mouldy rooms and the place stank of mould sweat and cannabis. These best part of our stay was driving away from it.

Just stayed. Huge room with 3 single beds & a bathroom with 2 baths & sinks. Room was clean & bed comfortable but decoration needed updating. As you enter the hotel it smells of smoke. The guys on reception are a bit odd too and you have a huge trek to your room but it was quiet. Bathroom needs refitting... More

As the title says the place stank & I decided to sleep with my clothes on. This must be the worst place I have ever stayed in. None of the bedroom furniture matched, the decor was from the 1960's as this was the last time the place was painted! Other reviewers have pretty much got this place bang to rights...on... More

We needed a quick stop on a long journey, so booked online via laterooms without checking out trip advisor, which I normally do. What a mistake! My heart sank as we pulled up at around midnight - it looked half abandoned and creepy, and sits right on the edge of a busy roundabout. The whole area just felt unsafe -... More

I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone. I've stayed in hostels better than this. It is unclean, and creepy. The window is blocked by a huge mirror, and people are walking about shouting at nights. It's almost as if the walls are made of paper. The pillows were terrible, so thin that they may as well have been empty pillow... More

as Jonathans's this was one of the City's premier eateries and hotels. Sadly no longer. Take away the restaurants within a restaurant and what is left is a rabbit warren masquerading as a shabby hotel. We were told we could not have a room key as tge room's previous occupant had taken it with him. Despite promises, the key never... More

Firstly - I would recommend avoiding booking.com as they are quick enough to take a cut of your money by promoting hotels in a 'stretching the truth until it turns into Bulls#@t' manner, then shun their responsibility when you ring up to complain to them. So , rather then tell you the story i will bullet point some of the... More
