I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone. I've stayed in hostels better than this. It is unclean, and creepy. The window is blocked by a huge mirror, and people are walking about shouting at nights. It's almost as if the walls are made of paper. The pillows were terrible, so thin that they may as well have been empty pillow... More

as Jonathans's this was one of the City's premier eateries and hotels. Sadly no longer. Take away the restaurants within a restaurant and what is left is a rabbit warren masquerading as a shabby hotel. We were told we could not have a room key as tge room's previous occupant had taken it with him. Despite promises, the key never... More

Firstly - I would recommend avoiding booking.com as they are quick enough to take a cut of your money by promoting hotels in a 'stretching the truth until it turns into Bulls#@t' manner, then shun their responsibility when you ring up to complain to them. So , rather then tell you the story i will bullet point some of the... More

My wife and sister-in-law booked this hotel through Laterooms.com Wednesday 1st October as they had to attend the funeral of their farther, when they arrived they felt immediately uncomfortable and intimidated by the amount of men just hanging around in general and as two women by themselves they did not feel safe, they were shown the rooms which were not... I will start with what was good: the Wi-Fi worked. That’s it. Now for the rest. The furnishings at the hotel are not dated, they’re just old and ready to fall apart. Stained carpets in the hallways and mould on certain sections of the wall gave an indication of what was to come. The room we were given was not... More

My friends from overseas had booked this hotel for a 7 night stay from the 10th to 17th October 2014 in good faith when they came over to see us only to be very shabbily greeted by the gentleman on reception and just told where their room was which apparently was like a maze to get there and the room... When you book a cheap hotel on a Saturday night, you expect it to be noisy and probably a bit worn. This hotel however was in another league. I was greeted to the sound of a very loud extractor fan which was based right outside the window and ran until midnight when presumably the kitchen staff went home! I was... More
