After some of the negative comments, my wife and I were apprehensive about booking this hotel. But, being pensioners, money is not for squandering. Our room, which was at the end of a warren of corridors was a lot better than expected. The room was large, a lot larger than any other hotel room I have stayed in. The bed... More

I stayed in this hotel for 10 days in a double room Pros: Really friendly employees Spacious room Reliable free wifi Bus stops to City Centre a few yards away. Cheapest hotel with a private room in Birmingham (at least during my stay) Cons: Water warm enough to have a shower, but not hot. Most power sockets are the old... More

Summary: don't even bother to try this "hotel". Worst hotel ever, YOU WILL REGRET after you have stayed in this hotel (if you can call this a "hotel"). We have booked two rooms. First it's smelly, the bed is not really suited for two persons, when you walk in the room it's giving you a creepy feeling because it's disgusting.... More

Knackered matrass. Pillows as rare as rocking horse muck. No wine glasses available. Damp, noisy, no hot water most of the time. I won't get started on the TV and its safety. PAT testing doesn't happen. How is this hotel allowed to open?

You know what, I have read some of the reviews, and some are fair and some are not, I suppose it all comes down to your outlook in life. You do tend to get what you pay for in this world. Plan correctly, we were staying because we were going to a Slipknot gig, so we would be out most... More

We stayed 2 nights for work purposes. It was a bargain, and we had a separate lounge area, huge bedroom and large bathroom. Its very very basic but realistically when you're paying bargain prices what do you expect. Couple of bulbs were out, but it seemed clean enough, had hot water and a shower that worked, TV, kettle, asked for... More

We had stayed here Once before, and while it was very run down, and quite dirty, it had a kind of Edwardian charm and comic value to it. We had eaten from the in-house Indian restaurant, and have to say the food was some of the best curry we have ever had. All this was about 3 years ago. We... More

Our stay here was hilarious. Its got the most unusual decor with all kinds of patterns going on. When we arrived we had to pay upfront rather than when we left and we soon discovered why. The heating had been on all day and the curtains were drawn so there was a dank smell and appearance. The bathroom stench was... More

The most disgusting hotel I've ever stayed in!! I'd rather sleep in a pigs sty then stay here. We arrived late with our kids and too late to be driving around finding another hotel. All pictures on the site are lies - dirty, health & safety risk staying here. Silverfish in the bathroom - beds filthy!!! I'm scared for life!!!... More
