We stayed in a family room for one night on a stop over on our way to Cheshire. Never again. This has to be the worst place we have ever stayed. The bathroom hadn't been cleaned prior to our arrival and a dirty/soiled towel had been left on the rail. The glass shower door was hanging on by one roller,... More

I stayed 1 night here on a business trip. The hotel is definitely a budget hotel, but at a room rate of £44 for a double room it is perfectly adequate to rest your head. The room was adequately (if cheaply) apportioned and contains a wall mounted flat-screen TV. The bathroom was clean and the shower was powerful. Considering the... More

Attending a family wedding over the weekend (22&23rd March) & stayed at this 'hotel'. Very dirty & smelt awful. stains on carpets. even the bathroom smelt horrible. dark corridors with faulty lights. the dining area needs a hotel inspector as it is filthy (if it's like that front of house what on earth is it like behind the scenes?!). don't... Stayed here for one night. First impressions of the hotel were ok. The room seemed to have everything we needed, however, seemed a little grubby and there was a sewage smell in the room. Room quite small but ok for one night. Interrupted nights sleep, not from the m5 traffic noise, but from a rather noisy wall radiator in the... More

Some of the hotel looks a little tired but this is due to the owners making some great changes The food is perfectly acceptable and great value for money and the staff are extremely friendly . Rooms are clean , warm and tidy . Altogether a great option

the first Q asked after you register, is to order your breakfast for the rest of the stay, at 3pm how do I know what I want to eat at 7am the following day or the day after? FFS. If I was paying £50 per night i would complain about a lot of things , but at £49 I suppose... More

We stayed recently as part of a large group putting on an event in the city. We were pleasantly surprised by quality of the hotel and have to say that it was excellent value for money. The care and attention of the staff was very good and the spacious lounge area was perfect for our large team. The bedroom was... More

Stayed recently as part of a business trip. The hotel is adequate for requirements but is definately "budget". There is the bonus of a gym and the food available tasted good and there was a reasonable amount of choice. The room was ok however having stayed a couple of times in previous months it can be inconsistent. The location is... More

I am a seasoned traveller and have stayed in high and low budget hotels and this hotel is not for couples or families who wish to stay through the week. The hotel is well priced and furnished for workers staying away which, reflects in the rooms and general decor. It's friendly but the rooms require better beds, quilts and pillows... More
