The hotel room was really nice with plenty of room in it. The addition of the fridge was welcomed. The hotel is set in lovely grounds and does not disappoint. The hotel staff are friendly and helpful. I have only good things to say. This hotel is well worth a visit.

Walton Hall is a magnificent building with amazing facilities, helpful, friendly staff who have a passion for their hotel. Quite simply superb food, amazing suites and lots of additional facilities. I will definitely be back.

Stayed one night at Walton hotel and so glad it was only one. Bath filthy, had hairs and scum in bottom and sink/mirror glass dirty. Basic for £140 room and breakfast which was a joke. Self service, even drinks! Where ever I've been in the UK paying that price at least tea/coffee is brought to you by a waiter. Hot... More

The Hall itself is old stone and stained glass windows and feels very luxurious. The bedroom was large, up in the attic, with a very big bathroom and great shower. The food was very good and the only problem was with the service, breakfast especially, but on the second day the problems were rectified after a word with the management.... More

This is a particularly difficult review to write, as the Hall itself has a completely different character to the Hotel part next door. Let's start with the Hall, and consider its very unusual 'ambience'. We arrived on a weekend break paid for by my daughters several months ago, and had checked out the online website (of course) for pictures and... More

We stayed at this hotel on a Secret Escapes offer. Very good value for money. Super evening meal. Good choice at breakfast. Would give the afternoon tea a miss though! Very basic and not seated in the restaurant. It was served in the bar area which feels like a cafeteria .The staff serving the afternoon tea had very un professional... More

Beautiful surroundings and so, so peaceful. Rooms very good, clean and well equipped. Service good, staff friendly and food excellent with plenty of choice. Would definitely recommend staying here for a quiet short break.

We stayed in the hotel, rather than in the Hall. Very reasonably priced. Service was excellent. Room was perfect - loved the non-steaming mirrors in the bathroom. Breakfast was awesome. Couldn't fault it in any way.

We had a 2 night stay courtesy of Tesco vouchers. The booking process was very easy. The hotel is set in beautiful grounds/countryside. All very peaceful. The staff were welcoming, friendly, helpful. Nice room. Lovely pool. Good food. The dinner menu was set with 6 choices of main meal. As we don't eat meat, this was actually a choice of... More
