We had to travel to Ilkley for a wedding from Guildford and opted to drive a couple of hours the night before and stay along the M1. This place was selected purely on price (booked 2 nights before at £45 for a double room) and did the job nicely. This hotel is well located, clean and perfectly satisfactory for overnight... More

Very good value- clean, tidy, courteous and helpful staff. Easily locable, good parking . We popped in to McDonalds for an early morning breakfast . not something we would normally do but it was very convenient as it is literally 50mt away.

We have just returned from a very pleasant three night stay in this Travelodge. We had a quiet room on the top floor to the side of the Lodge and found the room adequate and clean. We encountered three different members of staff during our stay and found all staff to be most pleasant and attentive. Very quiet fireproof doors... More

We came to this Travelodge for 3 nights to visit Warwick castle and other attractions nearby. we had travelled from the Travelodge in Leeds Colton which was superb. This hotel hadn't been updated like the previous one and although the staff were friendly it wasn't as good. The windows were dirty, the curtains were in need of repair !! The... More

We recently stayed at this Travelodge. It was only after I booked it that I realised that it was one of the hotels that had not been updated so I was a little anxious to say the least but on arrival I was pleasantly surprised at its high standards. The staff were very polite and helpful (even when my children... More

We stayed for one night as we were on a long journey. We got to the hotel quite late, and were welcomed by the lovely man on reception. The hotel is clean, comfortable and has everything you need. When we checked out, the man on reception was very nice and chatted to us. Never felt this welcome before, and it... More

Not much around but that's not a problem, basic amenities such as a petrol station and McDonald's within the same compound. You cant go too wrong with a travelodge, this one was due a refurb to bring it up to brand standards but it's only a matter of aesthetics. Perfectly fine hotel with helpful staff.
