Compared to most other travelodge hotels this one appeared aged and in need of a redecoration/spruce up. Rooms were clean but also need a lick of paint. Location suitable for onward travel but not if you want to walk anywhere from the hotel (bar the McDonald's next door!). For cheap rates it is suitable for an overnight stay

Friendly and helpful staff but I felt they were a tad under resourced. In true Travelodge style, mother rooms were basic but clean and bed was comfortable. Shame they don't do aircon or fans in the rooms as it was a hot few nights in June and sleeping with the window open was no good coz there's a dual carriageway 100m... More

Thank you for your review. We’re pleased to learn that you found the staff to be polite and friendly during your stay with us. Not all of our hotels have air conditioning however, fans can be borrowed from the reception desk to help make our customers stay more comfortable. Feedback is invaluable and we thank you for taking the time... More

Very tired. The only thing new was the bed. Everything else needs ripping out and starting again. Even the heater in the bathroom was "disconnected for your safety"... why not fix it? It was a cheap couple of nights but wouldn't stay there again until it's refurbed

I knew when I booked this room that the hotel hadn't yet had the standard Travelodge refresh which is being rolled out across the country, so I was expecting a fairly tired, probably dirty room and staff that weren't really bothered. How wrong I was. At check-in Evva was so friendly, helpful and informative about local facilities and the room... More

Stayed 2/5/15. Easy to find but on the side of a dual carriage way and no break in the central reservation if you are on the wrong side. So you may have to continue to the next roundabout about a mile away and loop back. Shares a carpark with a Mcdonalds and next to a Texaco filling station. Pleasant staff.... More

A simple motel, but exceptionally friendly service, good value and a convenient location near to Rugby, Coventry and major road networks in the area. Petrol station and a Mcdonalds next door or Dunchurch and Rugby are a short drive to find other places to eat. Very clean. Good WiFi (Free for 30 mins then £3 for 24 hours), free parking... More

A lovely nights sleep for a family of four. It was great value for what we paid- £28, booked a few monte before. The room was spacious and comfortable, the staff couldn't have been nicer. There was a comfy bed for grownups and two small singles for the kids, but the room didn't seem cramped. The breakfast offered by travelodge is... More

Obviously in need of refurbishment (the bathroom was dated and the pipes groaned hideously during showering, half expected them to explode through the tiles!), but the staff are friendly and helpful, location is easy to get to, is remarkably quiet. Not much in the way of other services (McDonalds and a service station) in the area. Would probably stay again... More
