It was a very nice hotel, very cozy. The staff was very friendly and the room was clean and warm. Its walking distance from the main shopping area and the neighborhood is quite. And if you are from indian subcontinent, the best part is you get indian food, During my stay on third day the craving started for spicey indian... More

The room had everything required, room 16 had a large Bay Area on the corner of the building. I had a meal from the resturants impressive menu, very nice. The hotel seems to run on limited staff but it works well. Very helpful and friendly.

Between the station and the town. Good location with comfortable rooms (mine has a sunken bath) lots of steps, disabled beware!!. Friendly accomdating staff, menu looked good but not sampled. Good base for exploring at a reasonable price.

This was booked for me by work as usual place was full and got to say I was pleasantly surprised. Really friendly staff from the moment we arrived and a reasonable old layout hotel with lots of stairs and corridors and little corners. Room was fine, desk and chair, seat, comfortable bed, tv and wifi. Only thing that let it... More

When I booked this through work I did not expect a lot. I thought that it looked like a budget B &B. When I arrived the staff were very friendly, they offered to carry my bags to the room (the rooms are key operated, which I have not had for a while). The room was a little dated, but it... More

I stayed 4 nights on business and yes, the room was dated, but it was clean. At times, the radiator heating was excessive, so I had to open the window, but it was OK. I was worried about the hot water/cold water problem as I read on reviews here, but found that you just needed to take a little time... More

The rooms and hotel is generally tired. The bed in our room was awful as it dipped in the middle making it impossible to sleep! Pillows were flat and hard. Staff were really nice and helpful and as we had already moved rooms once we didn't complain again. Would never stay in this hotel again.

We stayed here on NYE; purely for convenience. We only 'slept' in the room so didn't use any facilities. The room was tired and dated; we were on the road; so whilst we didn't hear much noise the curtains were hanging off the rail and the lights from outside kept the room illuminated. On the positive the staff were very... More
