Stayed between 5th and 9th Jan 2014. When I left in the morning the my room was locked I doubled checked it, when I returned that evening my room unlocked. I can only assume this was done accidentally by a member of staff who had service the room. I reported it at the time and they would look into this.... More

The place looked run down and old when we arrived, there was nothing exciting about the room it was plain and very uncomfortable. The room was a good size but needed serious updating. The bed springs had long passed their sell by date as the bed was so uncomfy. Plugs didn't work, the room was cold and bed sheets dirty.... More

This place should be avoided for all the reasons in other reviews. It's really in need of a massive upgrade or even knocking down. The rooms are dark and dreary the beds are uncomfortable and the traffic noise continues pretty much all night. Not good!!

I have just returned home from a nights stay at the worlds worst hotel! Upon arrival my partner and I was "greeted" by a rude "lady". Was handed our key and directed to the room (hell). It was around 6pm when we arrived so was dark,I opened the door and switched on the light which did NOT work! The room... More

The food is very good and the breakfast can not be beaten . Also very good value . The staff are all very friendly and helpful . We have already booked... More

Firstly the good stuff, the pub, which is shown in the photos on the website is nice, with friendly staff and the carvery is nice but cheap. Now for the hotel. Well it's not a hotel, it looks like an American motel but there's no photos of that on the website! I checked in, Lady was very pleasant and explained... More

Absolutely awful! Stayed here for one night while we were visiting the town for a party. I have NEVER stayed in a hotel as bad as this. As the title suggests the exterior of the hotel looks like a motel from an American horror film and the accommodation lives up to that. Room smelt vile and looked grubby, Soundproofing between...
