Stayed one night as attending a special celebration in Hinckley, only 10 mns away. Wanted to stay somewhere quiet as many larger hotels are noisy places. This hotel is in the quiet village of Dadlington next to the village green and surrounded by countryside yet near to the towns and has an excellent food pub nearby ( and the Ashby... More

After a rather hideous journey, thanks to an overturned car transporter on the A34, I arrived at Ambion Court to a very warm welcome from John. He settled me into my room and then sorted me out with a snack and a cpl of pints of good real ale (bottles not draft just to set expectations). As a host John... More

Found the Ambion Court when looking for an alternative to staying in Nuneaton, and it was a very welcome respite from the town. Had a spacious room overlooking the village green and we enjoyed walking across it to the pub for dinner. Furnishings are traditional rather than modern, and our ensuite shower-room was about as small as it could have... More

The breakfast was rich and delicious. But what struck me the most was the owner, John. He helped me looking for important infos and he made me... More

Ambion Court Hotel at Dadlington, a well run comfortable and friendly establishment. In a nice village great to use as a base for exploring Bosworth field and the surrounding area. A lovely room, and the public areas were comfortable. Evening meals across the green at the Dog and Hedgehog also very good. Breakfast served with a smile and well cooked.... More

Very peaceful location in the heart of this lovely village.Good breakfast ( free range eggs from the farm over the road - buy some to take home) and John and Wendy were very welcoming. Pleasant walk down by the Ansy canal . Choice of places to eat within walking or short driving distance .

A lovely hotel. John could not do enough for us, even providing a travel cot free of charge for our baby daughter and a booster seat during breakfast. Beautiful location and great pride taken in every aspect of your stay. Breakfast delicious. Would love to stay again and take advantage of the surrounding area. Thank you.

Absolutely fabulous - John is the consummate host and will do his very best to make sure you are having a good time. The rooms are massive (we had one in the courtyard) and if anything were a little too warm. Not a problem really as we could open a window - but it seemed such a waste. Shower area... More
