My parents and brother and his fiancé stayed here the night before my wedding in May 2015. After travelling a long way they found there rooms very modern, spotless with plenty of mod cons . It was easy to book for them online and there were no problems with booking in on arrival , which took 5 minutes. This hotel... More

This is a premier inn, you get everything that you would expect from the chain. Clean room, friendly reception, very helpful staff. The room I had was a long way from reception and I struggled a little with my luggage up the stairs and through numerous doors to get to my room.

Hotel fantastic staff brilliant, however the restaurant needs to swerved as we had to send one of our meals back twice due to being cold eventually gave up and was given a refund, the meal we did eat was look warm and of not good quality.

The car park is to the side of the Beefeater restaurant - you need to drive all the way through then snake towards the left (look for the purple signpost indicating Reception) where the entrance can be found through a set of white gates which isn't initially obvious. Some parking spots nearest the traffic island were waterlogged when it rained... More

I have been twice and cannot fault the hotel - good value and great for travellers. Although the service and staff at the restaurant at the attached Beefeater were fine, it was very busy and loud and the main course was over cooked and of poor quality. I have been twice now and although I would goto the hotel again,... More

Stayed here for an overnight to break up a journey. Hotel had a weird layout, no lift, up stairs along corridor, down stairs, along corridor, and into room. Much smaller rooms that you get in other Premier Inns, but had all the essentials. Kinda cool light effect in the headboard tho, if you like a purple glow! Car park spaces... More

Refurbished hotel, perfect for any visit to the Ricoh Arena or even a shopping trip in Birmingham as not very far away. Helpful staff, clean rooms and a great price. Couldn't ask for much more. Free parking and good restaurant for breakfast is a plus.

The Premier Inn is a clean and updated hotel, but this one is missing out on an incredible marketing opportunity. It happens to be located in the childhood home of the famous Victorian author, George Eliot (Mary Ann Evans). I know of at least a dozen scholars who have come from all parts of the world in the last few... More

No issues. Stayed for one night. Room small but cosy and suited one night stay. Will use again, recommended. Hotel out of centre so if you would like to walk around choose different location. Haven't tried the Beefeater but looked very inviting.
