The bedroom was small and the ensuite was very small and basic. After a shower you had to go into the room to dry yourself as there is no room in the "bathroom". The bedroom and the "hotel" is in need of a renovation. The owner was very accommodating with our request for an early breakfast but it was very... More

I am a Londoner and visited this hotel on a business trip. Maurice and Jan were excellent hosts and it was a most comfortable room and great breakfast. Would recommend it to anyone. I have visited 75 countries on a mixture of business and pleasure, so feel in a position to judge.

OK for a brief stay. However, even with the room at the back, you are close to the main through road in the village. An unusual welcome, although I think the intention was good. Cooked breakfast in the morning OK. Parking good.

My husband, mother-in-law and 3 month old son stayed here for 2 nights. Upon arrival we were shown our rooms but the welcome we received was not the most friendly. Rooms were small and basic. A moses basket was provided for my son however this was very dusty and looked like it had not been used for a while. Also... More

We had a very pleasant overnight stay at his very comfortable 200 year old B&B,superbly situated in Henley in Arden with easy to Statford - upon - Avon. Super king size bed, delicious breakfast and a hostess which made us feel very welcome. Highly recommended.

We are 2 adults 1 8yr old and 6 month baby staying in family room which is 2 singles pushed together and a single bed in own room and we had the option of travel cot. Private off road car park. The lady who runs it we think lives here so she is always here to help. The room is... More

We had an excellent one-night stay here. The hostess was friendly and helpful. We had ordered a twin room but in fact had a room each and a lovely well equipped bathroom. The beds were confortable and we both slept well. In the morning we were served a delicious full English breakfast. Wonderful.

Can't agree with most the reviews here .. stayed one night while doing the Heart Of England way; all right its not the Ritz but was fair value for the price paid .. good sized room and bathroom, friendly greeting, more than decent breakfast (tho someone else commented that the breakfast sausage was bit funny which can agree with!) ..... As previous post say it does the job, good location, reasonable comfortable beds, shower worked well, breakfast was reasonable, can't really knock anything about this comfortable little B&B. If I needed a room in this area again for the price I would certainly return to this B&B.

Pretty much says what it does on the tin. Double bedroom with small shower/wash basin/toilet room and breakfast in the morning that is cheaper than hotels in the local area. The owner was pleasant enough and helpful and free parking at the back of the building - need to park strategically though to get out easily. Thankfully the windows had... More
