Reviews were so mixed for this hotel we worried and our son in law ribbed us mercililessly but we had a family wedding to attend!!! When shown our room it was lovely with doors leading to a patio and a huge bathroom with a corner bath and his/ her sinks Carpet needs refurbishing as stained in bedroom but very nice... More

Avoid this hotel. Sure it looks great but the rooms are small and very dated, I was upgraded to what was supposedly one of their premier rooms, it was awful, mould on the windows and a very hard bed, not forgetting a very bright green security light in the middle of the room. On top of this they couldn't find... More

We recently held our Year 13 leaving prom at Dunchurch Park Hotel, booking the marquee for the event. The whole evening from start to finish ran smoothly as far as the guests were concerned. The staff were friendly, welcoming and attentive. The grounds made an ideal location for photographs. The food was outstanding and I cannot recommend the marquee highly... More

At 11pm a cockroach scurried across my bed (room 8). I was offered a different room in the same building but declined. The hotel paid for a taxi home and back again in the morning. Verbal apologies only.

I attended a wedding as a guest in July at Dunchurch park. The buildings and gardens look very nice from the outside and some of the rooms in the building were lovely (e.g. the billiard room), but many of the staff were terrible and made no end of avoidable mistakes! The bride wasn't allowed to check in to her bridal... More

Dear Guest Thank you for taking the time to write the review about your experience. I am sorry to hear about our shortfalls and to say I am astonished about the series of events that you claim took place is an understatement. We host some 130 wedding per annum – most weekends we host no less than two and what... More

Stayed here with a colleague last night. Grand entrance and plenty of room to park. The reception is very nice and the staff were very welcoming. The room is okay and clean but neither of us slept very well and a lorry reversing woke us up! But, it was only £60 so it was pretty good for the price we... More

Stayed here for 1 night on business recently and thought it looked great when I booked it, classic country house. Also fantastic when you arrive through the impressive gateway. However, while the original property is lovely, the hotel has styled itself as a conference venue and the main property seems to have been turned into large conference rooms with no... More

When you drive through the magnificent gardens you really think your somewhere special but the rooms are very average. Wifi worked ok. Tv tiny and although wasn't dirty ive stayed in cleaner places for much less. Van got broke into on car park and although not hotels fault I got little sympathy.

Very poor communication from staff in terms of no confirmation of booking different prices charged on arrival. Totally outdated rooms with poor showers and uncomfortable beds. Main bar did open until 5pm so we had to go into the village for drinks. Main toilets for gents in the hotel are located in the basement Which are a joke.the general cleanliness... More
