Lovely settings .... However we had informed hotel that 3 of our 8 would not be drinking alcohol from the half bottles stated per person. They were told that non alcoholic beverage would be available which was preordered. On table were the 3 preordered drinks along with 4 bottles of wine!! In my opinion I think that my non drinking... Got married here in August this year and had a great time...everything went as planned and our master of ceremonies (Tony I think his name was) was brilliant. The grounds are stunning and great for photos. From start to finish the staff were very good at answering questions and keeping us on track, although we did have quite a large... More

After 2130 this hotel has no restaurant facilities of any kind despite my finding the barman and chef relaxing in front of a television. The photograph of a large grand house is misleading - that is not the hotel! Instead you are given abysmal directions to a maze of rooms which seemed to be spread all over the very dark... More

My company had booked 70 bedrooms, the Garden Rooms area for a daytime conference and the ballroom for our Christmas dinner and party. On arrival, you are greeted by a beautiful long avenue of trees - and then you notice the 1970s style "army barracks" which is the guest accommodation. We went straight into the conference first with the intention... More

I visited here for my work christmas party, and for £69 a night for a double room including breakfast I thought why not? The grounds are really nice, however we stayed in the Rochdale rooms, and I was shocked to see how outdated and tiny the rooms were there was barely any space for my bag let alone room to... More

Our stay at dunchurch was horrendous... Rooms very small, not child/disabled friendly what so ever. Breakfast kept running out and no staff there to top it up, no plates or glasses for breakfast or juice. Staff come across rude!!! Had to call reception x2 for a new quilt.. Over all would not recommend or stay again!!! Very disappointed customer!!!!!

I have to agree with the last reviewer, the party was nothing special. It was poor value for the £32 paid. On arrival, everyone was squashed together before moving to tables and some of our friends found this very uncomfortable. One of our tables was situated near the side of the marquee and we were cold all the time we... More

I have visited on a number of occasions, but this was for their Christmas Party night, a lack lustre affair full of dubious people. The hotel and grounds are gorgeous, particularly on a frosty sunny morning. The rooms are comfortable and, at £55 a night for a single room, it represents value for money. This, by the way, includes breakfast,... More

The hotel grounds are lovely but the rooms are a 60's style block. The rooms are very small and seem designed for the business traveler. One tip: make sure you lock your bedroom door behind you - it doesn't lock when you close door. Breakfast was low quality meats and eggs are cold and hard.

HAd to stop in Rugby for company do so booked in here and it did what we needed, nice room comfy bed and lovely old house although you don't stay in the old house all rooms are in blocks which look a bit like army barracks. Breakfast was buffet style with plenty to choose from.
