Stayed a night this week in a single room on the second floor. Room small but very clean and had what you needed. I had to turn the heating down as too hot but good to see it was on, just turned the radiator down, no big deal. Parking a pain as around the back of the hotel ( after... More

We found the hotel to be generally ok. My wife and I stayed for 2 nights and chose this hotel based on the good Trip Advisor reviews. Our room (room 2) was very spacious, a little bit shabby, but generally quite nice. The bathroom was quite large and the powerful shower was very good. The edge if the bath surround... More

We were looking for a different Hotel for an overnight stay on December 26th and found this lovely place. We found the location just in the right place a short drive from the town centre and 5 minutes from our daughter's home. It is set in a village and is a beautiful looking building. We parked at the front of... More

I stayed here for 1 night whilst visiting friends in South Shields and was impressed with the accommodation overall. The rooms were clean and very comfortable and the breakfast was really good too. Parking was free and the location is very convenient for the metro. Would definitely stay again.

Located within a 10 minute walk from Chichester metro and less than 5minutes from South Tyneside Maritime college, which is why I chose it. I found it comfortable and clean with good food and friendly staff. I would recommend this place if you are going to spend a few days at the college.

Something different. A historic house in a village setting. Good off street parking available. As it is an old house the floorboards are a bit creaky but the room we had was quite spacious with a walk in shower. The room has been done up quite recently but some of the fittings were a bit wobbly : tap, towel rail... More

Stayed here for 5 nights in November while on a course at South tyneside college. Set in a nice old village close to the college. Quiet area. The staff were not very talkative at meal times but friendly enough when communication was made. The breakfast was ok, evening meal was average. The Internet service was intermittent. The floorboards creaked a... More

This is a slightly down at the heel, but clean and friendly hotel. The food is basic but good, and there is a bar also, which surprised me for the price (very cheap)! I wouldn't recommend a stay for more than a couple of nights, but in any event I will stay again.

I can only repeat the excellent endorsements from other reviews. Perfect location, excellent rooms with comfy beds, together with a friendly, helpful and professional staff. Thank you Kelly and Sandra. First class breakfasts, hot or cold. Don't miss the full English. Overall, a first class stay. We would defiantly choose to stay again.

A brilliant find , this is the second time in staying here and would certainly go back . Had requested a ground floor twin room as staying with a friend whose mobility is compromised , we weren't disappointed and were given a ground floor room, number 2 to be exact , this was even larger than the room we had...
