Dreary location next to very dilapidated Burger King, but inside fine. Room clean, spacious and pretty up to date, comfy bed, loads of hot water ( as always in Travelodges). Staff all very pleasant and friendly, nice pub 5 mins away - The Snowy Owl - for meals. Could hear traffic if windows open. Don't know what the full price... More

Truly dreadful. Reminiscent of the Bates Motel. Never staying in somewhere quite so awful since the 1970's. had my brain fried by the massive electricity pylon in the car park. Staff were friendly though but the had a look of dread and desperation about them.

There is budget & BUDGET!!! Have been using Premier Inn for a while so thought Travelodge would be similar - I was very wrong. Most uncomfortable bed I have ever slept in (it has undone 12 months of Pilates and massage for a back problem in one night). Staff pleasant, but fittings tired. Oh and they forget to mention the... Can't fault it for the money! A reasonable place to crash, comfortable and clean but looking a bit shabby! Could do with some decoration. The receptionist was pleasant, there is also a little chef/burger king here and a petrol station but not much else.

Very dirty room. Nice girl on reception, but let down by back office team (reservations and customer service). Emailed them to complain, but haven't heard back from them? Don't stay here, there is a Premier Inn and a Holiday Inn just up the road

This hotel cost us £21 for two people for the night. It was clean and functional. The shower worked and there was 24 hour reception service available. The bed wasn't very comfy, the sheets were thin and there is a large, buzzing electricity pylon in the carpark outside. The walls/doors are thin, so you can hear people coming in and... More

Arrived back home today after spending two nights there. Whilst I cant argue about the value, the room had little going for itself. The furniture was sparse, having only one chair between the two of us. Was disappointed that there wasnt some sort of sofa in there. it looked as if the place had been robbed. The mattress was very... More

I was travelling for work and booked this because there wasn't anything else close to the depot I had a meeting at.. It was very cheap £33 but very depressing. It is directly under a massive electricity pylon and my room was close to the road. The room was boiling despite altering the heating, the bathroom was grubby, the lights... More

We booked a family room at a special rate, and once again found the lodge value for money. It is surrounded by very busy roads, but we slept well. As you would expect from a family room, that will be used often for stopovers enroute to Scotland, the only thing that I struggle with is the carpets are never as... More

Booked this hotel after our normal place was fully booked. Receptionist was fine and we were soon in our room. To say basic would be an understatement, 2 rock hard plastic chairs and a double bed. Very hard to get a good night sleep as the mattress was so soft we kept rolling towards each other during the night. It... More
