Found the hotel OK but it is very sad and needs money spending on it. Would not advise families use it as the 3rd and especially the 4th bed options are so uncomfortable, the springs dig into your body. Had to get extra duvets to use as padding to protect from the springs. Defo would NOT use the Little Chef... More

Due to my regular Premier Inn being fully booked we decided to give this hotel another chance. I must say it was a big improvement on our previous visit in 2013. Room although basic was clean and tidy with clean towels daily. Bed was comfortable enough with sufficient pillows for a decent sleep and we heard no noise. Reception staff... More

Hotel is old and built using cheap methods therefore it is noisy inside the hotel as other guests move around. The room we were given smelt stale and damp. As it was a very late arrival for us we put up with it for some much needed sleep

We needed somewhere to stay near both Seaton Burn and Cramlington. The travelodge at Seaton Burn fitted the bill perfectly. The room was clean and ready prepared for our early check-in. The reception staff was friendly, as were the other members of the team we met during our stay. We will definitely stay here again

We used this hotel as a base for a night out in newcastle. This hotel is near to the airport and easy to find. We paid £20 to get from the hotel into the town centre. The rooms are your typical Travellodge fair but could do with a lick of paint. There is a service station shop, Little Chef and... More

Looking very tired, Bathroom walls covered in mould and not cleaned under bed- premier inn a lot better but at least we could take our dog although a £20 surcharge seemed a lot £10 would seem a more realistic price

I found this Lodge to be one of the best for quality, staff performance, help and courtesy. The rates i got over the Christmas period were the best I have recievedand would highly reccomend this Travelodge and would highly reccomend this lodge. Slightly noisey one night out of 4 but after all it was Christmas.

Arrived at the travelodge after a long journey & was greeted by the receptionist Karen! She was really friendly & helpful. She must have seen how exhausted we looked cos she sorted our room for us straight away. The rooms are very basic but for what you pay it's worth it! Burger King, little chef & petrol station with cash... More

Travelodge are fairly predictable; low cost budget. However, this one was rather poor. The radiator in room was broken, no option to mend. Remote control was missing, staff snoozing ( Chinese style) at the counter on the morning shift. I would avoid this one and find another if you are in the area.
