Highly rated the hotel, amazing place. Stayed in the basic room but very big and impressive with a 40inch plasma. Excellent bathroom and very spacious. Staff were very helpful and ensured our stay was comfortable. Dinner was very good, little pricey, but good all the same. Luckily they had an offer, £35 per person 3 crs meal. Had breakfast in... more

I chose Nutfield Priory for a special family celebration having visited the hotel years ago and also from selling it to my corporate business travel clientele. Being my sister's 50th birthday celebration and we had a made a lunch reservation for a family party of 12 which included 4 children. Some of us had travelled from Wales to make this... more

I had a very mixed experience with Nutfield Priory. It is a quicky (and slightly 'Fawlty Towers') English Hotel, where its idiosyncracies annoy and amuse in equal measure. My room was in the tower (Byron) and was an extraordinary experience. Arrange over two floors with opulent drapes (which were falling away from the rails), fabulous views and a psychedelic painting... more

Thank you for writing your review. I am disappointed that you experienced difficulties with our wiFi service; it is not something we frequently experience and I am sorry the service was intermittent. We are very careful in our marketing to explain to guests that our spa facility is housed within our Health Club although it is a completely separate entity...

Treated my pregnant wife to a one night break including treatments at the hotel Spa. My wife was thoroughly pampered and was glowing / radiant afterwards. I had the best massage I have ever had and was totally relaxed. The pool / jacuzzi / steam room was ok but nothing special. Pool was very shallow. Our room rate was £129... more

Thank you for taking the time and trouble to write a review.I am delighted that your wife felt pampered after her treatments in the Spa and that you enjoyed dinner and breakfast in Cloisters. I look forward to welcoming you both back in the near future.

We stayed on a Sat night having booked the hotel the day before as a last minute escape. The room was supposed to be an Executive Double (ie more space) with B&B for £170. The room was the size of someone's walk-in cupboard - I accept that we may have got the last room there as we booked so late,... more

I am sorry that you felt the room you reserved did not represent value for money and that you felt our restaurant was expensive as I am confident that both are priced competitivley in both the local and regional market. In all respects they offer comparable value to hotels of this quality in the Surrey/Sussex borders. On our website we...

This was meant to be a relaxing weekend break for my girlfriend and i, but instead it quickly turned into a farce. I have read some of the less favourable reviews on here and can now honestly understand where people are coming from. Lets start at reception.Don't expect the offer of help with your bags from the uninterested member of... more

My wife and I stayed at Nutfield for our anniversary and splashed out on the Wordsworth suite. This room is HUGE and has stunning views out over Surrey. It was quite a shock as I’ve never had the privilege of staying in such a large hotel room. With a massive sleigh bed (it could easily sleep 4), 2 huge 3... more

Stayed here for one night on the bed and breakfast, 3 course dinner, Champange and canapes and mini spa treatment package, which was excellent value for money and highly recommend it. Hotel, restaurant and spa staff very friendly and helpful. The hotel itself is beautiful with stunning views. The spa was large with lovely clean facilities. The food in the... more

We booked this hotel through a special offer for our 5 year wedding anniversary and it didn't disappoint. The setting was beautiful (despite the rain!), the hotel looks very impressive from the outside, the staff on reception were very helpful and we got checked in quickly. We went for a deluxe room which had a name rather than a number,... more
