I stayed for one night, business unfortunately so did little but sleep and shower. I had a quirky top floor room, that might not suit the very tall or those with mobility problems. A short corridor connected the bedroom with the bathroom, and my only comment is that the floor and step into the bathroom was at an angle, and... More

Having read reviews I naively booked this location recently. Like others the claim of free parking is a stretch of the imagination. It consisted of finding a space on the street. I got about 2 hours sleep enduring a really noisy person next door. No staff were on the premises to deal with the matter. The final twist. Continental breakfast... More

I have stayed in this beautiful hotel on several occasions and have enjoyed every visit. The rooms are cosy and unique. I find the staff extremely helpful and I love the fact that I can take my dog with me. Denise is extremely helpful and went out of her way to make sure I was happy and comfortable and had... More

Hotel is very dated, needs updating, and staff would benefit an understanding of customer service, thats when they are about that is. Its a very odd place, which seems to be the stated theme in other reviews. The hotel claims to have free parking, this is actual parking in a residential street, thus no parking bays allotted to this hotel.

We only stayed for one night, the room we had was quite nice (my wife loved it), it was quite classical with a four poster bed, glass topped dressing table and wing chair, the decor was very tasteful. The bathroom was very modern with a whirlpool bath, over bath shower (it did seem a bit a s truggle to balance... More

When booking the Chase Lodge Hotel I had done quite a lot of research and was really looking forward to our stay. The welcome at reception was great and everything downstairs is very clean, airy and welcoming. We were shown to our room, Lionhart, and my husband was very disappointed. I was trying to see things in a more positive... More

We chose this hotel because it was near to relatives we were visiting, and because we could bring our dog. Having advised the hotel we would arrive around 8pm, we were given a code to get in and a text telling us the keys would be on the unstaffed reception. We found our way in and room without any mishap.... More

I have now stayed here twice in the last month. I stayed in the very small (as advertised) single room on both occasions. I was very pleasantly surprised with the room, there is plenty of room for one and there is a full bathroom. Coffee and tea making facilities in the room are a nice touch. Breakfast had plenty of... Booked here for 2 nights with friends who were over from Australia, the staff were very helpful, hotel was very quaint, excellent cleanliness, continental breakfast was plentiful. Train station is less than 5 min walk, we went into London on both days
