I don't mind the fact the lifts did not work, or the remote did not work in the room. I also know there will some noise from people returning from nights out. However I did mind being woken by a full blown party going on in room 115 ( I was 8 rooms away!!) that was still ongoing at 5.20am.... More

The bed was comfortable and the room was nice and warm but we would not come back due to the noise problems both inside and out of the hotel. Also security needs stepping up. How did a group get past reception in the early hours going along the corridors shouting, banging on doors and playing music with what appeared extra... More

The main issue with this hotel is noise, central location and what I can only describe as the dregs of society staying there. The room was clean and the chap on reception was very helpful however the noise totally blew a return here in my book. A real shame as the location is great.

This is a basic no-nonsense hotel aimed at those who wish to sleep in a plain, clean and safe environment. Considering the price I paid for this room, you could not ask for much more. Its location is excellent and literally 1 minute from the town centre and main street. Value for money, I dare to say this is the... More

I stayed here for one night and was pleasantly surprised. Great location, ncp carpark round the corner. Very close to all shops and restaurants. The reception were very helpful and friendly. Very comfortable bed, plenty of hot water and very quiet.

This hotel is loud not only because of its admittedly convenient central location but also because the walls and floors are thin like paper and you hear everything your neighbours say and do. You cannot open the windows because of mysterious safety reasons. Also the rooms are worn-down and not clean at all. The staff is not unfriendly but neither... More

i was aware this was a city location so would suffer from some noise. However the sound proofing in the hotel was that poor that the noise from the bars and restuarants in the local area made it impossible to get to sleep until the early hours of the morning, even tho i was on the top floor. i like... Make sure you find the row of red telephone boxes or you could go to the other Travelodge across the road by mistake. After doing the above we found the correct one. Check in was quick and easy, polite man on the desk. Room 105 is a family room. King size bed very comfortable and clean comfy pillows. My 18... More

With the entrance tucked away in the corner it was tricky to find at first but when found we had a nice welcome. Check-in was simple and the room was nice, had absolutely no view out the window, however we had reserved a family room and got given a double room (without the single bed made up) spoke to receptionist... from the outside it looked better than the other Kingston travelodge, inside it was smart and functional, the room was well decorated just needed a deep clean in some areas (nothing major) We had a problem with our room and pointed it out to the receptionist (Barbara) who was most apologetic and professional and dealt with it immediately with adore...
