Ok it's not the Ritz but it is a quaint little hotel/b+b. Value for money is excellent, the owner is extremely friendly and the location is awesome. Breakfast is first class and the rooms are very clean and have a homely feel. I look forward to coming back whenever I'm in London

My daughter & I stayed for a week at Hermes, it’s so charming as is the owner; Patricia, lovely women. My daughter moved to Kingston for school the location was great for a base. The rooms are clean, beds are comfortable rooms are quiet & bathrooms are clean. TV & WiFi works great. The only down side was the stairs... More

Reviews of this hotel were favourable enough for me to book this for the night before my wedding, staying with my best-man. Upon arrival though it was clear the hotel was not suitable for such a stay. The interior is very old, musky, cluttered with bric-a-brac and had a dusty feel. We were shown our room, given a key and... More

We stayed at Hermes for almost two weeks when our house was under renovation. The kids stayed in a triple room with shared bath room while the missus and I stayed in a double with ensuite bathroom. Nothing fancy about this place as after all it is a budget hotel/BB. However, Hermes is more than a budget hotel as it... More

We stayed in Kingston Upon Thames for 5 days over the Diamond Jubilee weekend as we wanted to be able to conveniently commute into central London whilst not paying London prices, so Hermes Hotel was perfect. As we were on a budget, we chose a double room with shared bathroom, but most of the time we had the bathroom to... More

My wife and I had a fantastic holiday at Hermes Hotel. It is a cosy, convenient friendly small B &B, located in picturesque setting overlooking the river Thames. The daily views of the magnificent Thames gliding by, with swans and and birds, people in their boats and the joggers on the bank were indeed very invigorating and refreshing. Its close... More
