I was amazed at how small the room was, and how much it was in need of a major refurbishment. The walks were woodchip, which was split/torn on all the corner joints. A boiler ran the whole night, making sleep almost impossible, while a 'resident' in the next room to mine spent the early hours smoking in the street outside and... More

Just come back from a wonderful 3 night stay. The Hostess Pat was lovely and could not do enough for you. The room was comfortable and the hotel was in a great position for Kingston and the station into London central. Breakfast was amazing and kept is going till dinner time. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Stayed just one night at the Hermes Hotel but it was a wonderful stay. The host Pat is absolutely lovely, she cooed over my baby (which any mum loves) and she cooked a mean full English! The Hermes is quiet and in a great spot for getting out in Kingston and walking the Thames. The hotel is cosy and unassuming... More

Wonderful Hotel. Great hosts and fine food. Close to all tourist spots and and highly recommended Bed and Breakfast Kingston upon Thames, Hermes Hotel. Handy for shopping. Also trips to Twickenham for the Rugby and Hampton Court Palace. Paul Davies MBM

Yeah , I stayed at Hermes B&B for many a week and I have NOT a single complaint ( and that's saying something ! ) ; the Lady-Manageress , Patricia is lovely , organised , methodical , caring + helpful ; over weeks and weeks there , I have never encountered any disagreeable clientele , quite the opposite ! The... More

In an intriguing house which has been much extended over the years but whose oldest parts date from the 18th century, the Hermes is a down to earth and friendly small hotel with a dining room, a small lounge / bar, and about 11 rooms. Good breakfasts, comfortable rooms - no ensuite in either of the ones I have stayed... More

Ok it's not the Ritz but it is a quaint little hotel/b+b. Value for money is excellent, the owner is extremely friendly and the location is awesome. Breakfast is first class and the rooms are very clean and have a homely feel. I look forward to coming back whenever I'm in London

Reviews of this hotel were favourable enough for me to book this for the night before my wedding, staying with my best-man. Upon arrival though it was clear the hotel was not suitable for such a stay. The interior is very old, musky, cluttered with bric-a-brac and had a dusty feel. We were shown our room, given a key and... More
