There are pros & cons for this Travelodge. At the budget end of the market you expect to 'get what you pay for' & maybe put up with a few things. The amount we paid per night was not cheap at £68 per night, but not expensive in comparison to what other hotels wanted for the period we were there.... More

Please do not even consider staying at this run down hovel. While there are worse places in the world, Downtown Detroit; Orange in New Jersey and a cardboard box on The Embankment spring to mind, this place takes some beating, particularly now Travelhutch has increased its prices in the mistaken belief that it is a real hotel. I am ashamed... More

Although well located, this travelodge is run down - the common areas are rough around the edges and you don't feel particularly safe at the bottom or outside of the building. I'm aware there are limited services offered to keep down the price but I would expect a towel per person at the minimum, sadly this didn't happen and we... More

I stayed in this hotel a few nights a week for three weeks in a row and I find that it did what it said on the tin. Staff was very friendly, specially Iwona which never missed a chance to ask me how I was doing. Rooms were clean and always with clean towels. Would def return but only for... More

It was unbearably hot, towels missing, not enough pillows in the room. The decor was dull, with poor presentation that made the place look like a prison. The lady at reception was nice but overworked as the reception was understaffed. My girlfriend and I would never use a Travelodge again after 2 bad experiences.

I have seen more furniture in a prison cell but this is basic we are talking about. We stayed two nights from the 25th of July to the 27th of July. Bed creeked, rooms boiling hot, but it was clean. After reading all the other reviews I nearly had a coronary! We arrived and the reception staff were very welcoming... More

The place was very difficult to find. The outside of the building is covered in Bird Droppings and was not very inviting. The Breakfast was appalling with little choice and the only type of egg available was scrambled

This was not a very pleasant stay- the hotel is housed in a converted multi-storey carpark- they still have the old entrance into a lift lobby- grubby, dark and unmanned, accessed from the edge of a dual carrigeway so it doesnt feel very safe at all. reception is on the first floor, along with the cafe/bar. Having decided it was... More

Just your average travelodge, everything to be expected: The good: -Security seems good. Since reception is on the first floor, a card key is required at night to gain access to the building. - A fan was already waiting for me inside the room upon check-in The bad: - Boiler was broken! Thankfully it's the summer

I recently stayed two nights here as I was doing a course at RSN Hampton Court and it was easy to get there by bus every day. I had booked several months in advance to get the best rate and didn't look at any reviews until just before I stayed there. Recent reviews have been appalling and I was very... More
