The original house dates back to the Georgian era. We stayed on the top floor in a little room with two single beds and an en suite bathroom. It was spotlessly clean. There was a steep narrow staircase leading up to our room. We found everything about this so charming (coming from Africa!). Our two hosts were very welcoming. We... More

Went to friends 40th party in city centre. Travelled from Manchester. City centre location. Lovely b&b. Room we got was lovely and full of character. Friendly hosts. Clean rooms and ensuite. Comfortable stay. Nice continental breakfast.

What a fabulous little gem. Beautiful B and B, Clean rooms and very comfy beds. I stopped here with my daughter in a twin room while checking out the university. The most amazing continental breakfast I have had. Fresh fruit every day as well as cereals, cold meat, cheese, yoghurt's, different breads, fresh tea and coffee, the list goes on.... More

My wife and I stayed here for one night when we were walking a portion of St. Swithun's Way. The innkeepers were on vacation so they had some friends watching the property. No problem there. The room was a little weird in that it was entered through the bathroom. And even though their webpage does describe their breakfast as continental,... More

The hosts were very welcoming, and the room was very well done. The bathroom was very roomy and well appointed. When you walk into the bedroom/sitting area you feel at home immediately. The exposed beams and skylights make a nice atmosphere.

Very welcoming hosts, clean modern and comfortable rooms, good location only 10min walk to the station and around a 10min taxi to Northbrook Park where my friend and I were attending a wedding. Good spread of breakfast items we were able to help ourselves to. Reasonably priced as well. Would definitely recommend.

My husband and I stayed here whilst attending a wedding in the area. The room we stayed in was beautiful with exposed beams and really nicely furnished. Far beyond our expectations! There were lots of choices of cereals, breads, yogurts etc for breakfast. We were also very thankful for the extended time breakfast is available in the mornings, which allowed... More

Stayed for one night with family for a wedding.Very helpfull letting us into our rooms early which was great. Car parking though a real pain and spent too much time going back and forth. The room was nice but not much in the way of extras eg no biscuits in room and shower gel and shampoo looked like leftovers from... More

It is always nice to get feedback, even if it is not perfect. However we must stress we DO NOT have parking as we are in the centre of a Georgian town built in the 1700's We do however send an email out to all clients 2 days before advising clients where to park at a reasonable rate. Those guests... More

This is a great venue and a well decorated little place in a very central location and next door to a pub with excellent food. The beds are comfortable and clean. However, the place just desperately needs a thorough hoover, stairs, landing, carpets are dusty. The breakfast room was full of sheets hanging on the dining chairs when we arrived,... More

We thank you for your review, you stayed at our B&B while we were on holiday. The couple who ran the B&B for us did very well overall. We had not other complaints during this period so we would like to think this was a one off. The window cleaner failing to turn up was not their fault and we... More
