I absolutely would not recommend this hotel. The food was bad. The walls are thin and the people around us were noisy. The Reception staff and 'Duty Manager' were unhelpful at best and on leaving, exceptionally rude. We booked to have dinner bed and breakfast and had to remind them of this - we wished we hadn't. We were the... more

Lots of charm in a building with a long history. Perfect if you would rather have something distinctly English rather than a spotless, modern hotel experience. Highly recommended. more

Stayed for Saturday night for our wedding anniversary. Staff extremely helpful with arranging a delivery of flowers, put into our room as suprise for my wife. Dealt with 3 members of staff, 2 reception and barman who all appeared to like working there and were genuinely please to help. Excellent room, very clean with tea/coffee and complimentary flapjack bite things... more

We were attending a wedding in farnham and needed somewhere local to stay overnight. the mercure bush seemed best suited as it was centrally located which was ideal as we would not have to drive some distance and the hotel website pictures looked good, however when we arrived it was very apparent that the pictures were probably taken many years... more

This hotel was once an old coaching inn and is well located in the centre of town. There's good carparking provided free for guests. The entrance to the hotel is unimpressive. To get to reception from the carpark you must walk past the kitchen - not the best first impression but at least it looked clean. Once inside, the lobby... more

When we first pulled up, we found a speace outside the front of the hotel. We went in and were warmly greeted by Volkan (that really was his name.) As my mum is diabled we had requested a room on the ground floor and were given room 101. We got in and were first hit by the most repulsive smell.... more

This was our second stay at the hotel after we got married there in July last year. I still don't have a bad thing to say about the hotel or it's staff. Our wedding was fantastic, helped by the very professional staff and our latest stay, over the weekend of 9 - 10 June, was almost as good (obviously couldn't... more

Stayed one night on business, so limited time to comment, however this appears to have been a lovely character hotel damage by commercial exploitation. As other comments v. pricey - single glass (large) of red wine being £6.75, and breakfast being £13 even if you just have a continental one as I did. No lift, room was very warm even... more

My husband and I recently stayed at the MacDonald’s Bush Hotel in Farnham for one night on a Dinner B&B offer . We have stayed at various MacDonald hotels, and have never been disappointed with the standard and service received. We had a wonderful time, the staff were exceptionally polite, obliging, and efficient, and I would mostly definitely recommend this... more

Parking, check in and my room were fine - nothing special but clean, comfortable and the staff were very friendly. Room service was ordered and arrived promptly, however £18 for 3 sausages, mash potato and a dessert seemed a little expensive. The next morning I was so pleased that my room rate included Breakfast, if it hadn't I would have... more
