We stayed for 3 nights in April in the upstairs room in the main house. The hosts were really welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed. They even let me use their mobile so I could make plans with friends. We don't usually stay at B&Bs, but after the reviews on here we took a chance and I'm... More

This was our second stay at Kiln Farm and was it just as enjoyable as the first. We stay when visiting family who live nearby. The first time we stayed in the Coach Room and this time we had the Stables room. Both are excellent, clean and well decorated with en suite bathroom, TV and tea/coffee making facilities. The cooked... More

My partner and I booked Kiln Farm due to it being dog friendly which was great, as we had a function to attend where dogs were welcome as well. We stayed in the Stables which was fantastic and had more than enough facilities for an overnight stay or longer, and with its own entrance from outside was very private. We... More

Great to meet you both and chat over breakfast - well done for promoting a great product (Real Ale) and the Garden Gate pub sounds a must! Thanks, Raphe More

We booked a Friday night get away from London and took our dog. There are not too many places that are dog friendly so it was an immediate winner from the off. We stayed in the coach room, a lovely converted room that sits outside of the main house. It was a decent size, well decorated and had a TV... More

Really nice welcoming you as our guests - hope you can come again - living in London you are so close and there are lots more places for dog walks too! More

My girlfriend and I stayed at Kiln farm for two nights as a cheeky getaway from London. Was very easy to find. When we arrived everything was ready for us. We stayed in the Kiln room in the main house and it felt very private; we didn't feel as though we were in the way at all. It was almost... More

And you were the perfect guests! It was a pleasure having you to stay and so glad the sun came out for your walk in the woods. Hope that you can come again. More

I have just arrived home after spending 5 nights at 'The Stables'. The room itself was lovely, warm and cosy with great features offering real character. The internet and television worked well and it was equipped with everything I needed. The little kitchen area was very cute although I did notice the microwave wasn't very clean. The bathroom was also... More

Samantha was a very nice and quiet guest and it was pleasant having her to stay. Much regret that there was confusion over car parking and clearly we did not handle it well and, as I said at the time, sincerely apologise for that. A personal crisis had blown up but that does not excuse us. Won't happen again! Raphe More

I stayed here with my partner and his mum earlier this month. We have a 5 month old puppy and she has a greyhound and Kiln Farm were very welcoming to human and doggy guests. With this being our first holiday with the puppy I was a bit nervous but our hosts were very friendly and even let our pup... More

We'd love to see you again and I know that Ted (our dog) would too! It is a great area for walks & pubs and glad you enjoyed the rooms too. The Stables has a new floor (was carpet) and I can see the bed needs restraining! Will do and the Bathroom door now closes smoothly. Look forward to see... More

Lovely location, plenty of off road parking (useful if you are on a motorbike!). Our room was the old coach house, completely separate from the house. Spacious bedroom and bathroom with the added surprise of a small kitchen area hidden in a cupboard with small fridge, toaster, microwave and sink. Breakfast was served in the main house, juice, cereals, cooked... More

This lives up to previous reviews. Just back from a two night stay, very friendly welcoming people, clean comfortable room with bath and shower en-suite, excellent breakfast, well cooked. Not far from station, five minute car or taxi ride.

Thought I had "responded" to your very kind review but then found it was by email only - so thought I'd better respond officially! So thought it'd be easiest to repeat my email of 23 July. Firstly, many thanks for your very encouraging and positive review in Tripadvisor! Was a pleasure having you to stay and I'm sure that you... More
